127k for NHS and 96k for Bieber. Wasn't even close in the end.

Oh wow! That was two incredible days for them, I thought 120k max :o And Bieber was at the very low end of my estimate!

Thank god I didn't bet, this is just plain awful, just hope it doesn't get played on TOTP :nocheer:
I'm glad I didn't bet. People moaning about NHS being #1, just remember that JB will return to the top in the new year. On the other hand, I bet the press are gonna have a field day about X Factor not getting Xmas #1

Who cares, we're all still less rich :D

Thanks everyone for taking time out of their Christmas to join in on the chart. Merry Christmas one and all! <3

Huge thanks to Ben and Joe for helping with the countdown today!! Joe did excellent in his first time hosting, I'm sure you'll all agree *.*

Have a wonderful Christmas one and all!

Well it's actually better than Bieber musically even if it is a charity song - although I wasn't quite expecting that particular cover/mashup (still, just donate directly public!) I'd have preferred a new, normal song at Christmas #1 for once. I doubt this one will be one for the ages.

I may have placed a bet too but it's okay, it wasn't much, I can stand to lose a couple of quid.

(MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone, many thanks chart mods for doing this on Xmas Day, ignore my complaints that things aren't quite perfect :D)

That's not the point though!! :P The point is that people wanted a Christmas #1 that wasn't X Factor or charity. No-one gives a whether JB will be back at #1 at a late date.

Not enough people wanted that. More people wanted the charity record at the top than Bieber.

Thanks to everyone, goes to show the chart would have be better off transmitted on a Sunday as per usual with loads of members communicating.

Have a Merry Christmas and thanks to the mod team for putting this together.

And on a separate note, I wouldn't be surprised if Justin hogs the top 3 next week :nocheer: with the gift card effect.

Enjoy all the festivities and see you all in 2016 with the new chart.

My evil side is kinda happy that those betters lost some were a bit overconfident and came across as arrogant but the number 1 is oki Guess nothing special tho hopefully it will raise more awareness for nhs tho

I'm not talking about the public, I'm talking about Buzzjack.

I would actually love that and I am not even a fan of his. How often does stuff like that happen in the charts!?! Normally the week after xmas is quite a dull chart as it is impacted by the giftcard effect, so that would make it more interesting. He can bugger off after that!

This! Made me back NHS even more by buying multiples and streaming! Merry Christmas

So without the campaign and the Bieber fans going all out on streaming and getting him extra sales we probably would have ended up with a Christmas #1 selling 85,000

I doubt it would be that little, likely to have been closer to 95k to 90k.

Wow, not close at all, who'd have thought that at the start of the week! :o the choir song is awful it must be said, bad vocals and the mash up doesn't work. Glad though that it did create a battle and it's for a good cause and all etc.

Merry Christmas all and thanks for the thread :cheer:
