Gwen Stefani will rather flop with her new album, will she? :o
Just seen a new Birdy album in the chart - had no idea there was even one coming out! :o

surprised Zayn is "only" #2 behind Now

1 Various Artists Now That's What I Call Music! 93

2 ZAYN Mind of Mine (Deluxe Edition)

3 Birdy Beautiful Lies (Deluxe)

4 Asking Alexandria The Black

I noticed last night that Zayn's album was released an hour early at 11pm, does that mean all those preorders will count as Thursday's sales?
Nope! This happens twice a year due to the US clocks changing, for a couple of weeks at a time we get the new releases an hour early. They still count for Friday's sales and it should be back to normal when our clocks change!

Just seen a new Birdy album in the chart - had no idea there was even one coming out! :o

As much as I knew about (and loved) 'Keeping Your Head Up', I also didn't know about it either until I literally had it sprung on me on Wednesday when a friend told me they'd ordered me the signed copy from Amazon, which was a rather nice surprise

Couldn't think of anywhere else better to post this as there's no Prediction thread for this week up yet, but Mint Royale has tweeted that Zayn is (as pretty much everyone expected) number one but the sales are "not stellar at all" and only a few hundred more than James did on their first day last week.

I see Lukas Graham, Last Shadow Puppets, Pet Shop Boys, Aled Jones and Black Stone Cherry picking up top 10 debuts, in which order isn't easy to tell but LG are probably most likely to grab the #1 spot

All Saints at #2...behind Now 93 *.*

Just imagine them grabbing a #1 album with new material in 2016. I guess Adele will see them off, as well as maybe some of the other new releases and Lukas Graham if they don't decline too quickly.

Studio 1 sold 2,975 copies on its first day apparently, I reckon this should match that at least.

Edited by gooddelta

In the absence of a midweek thread. From MR

The All Saints album is currently at number 3. Not being troubled much by new emerging artist Zayn (26).

The single One Strike is at 44.
