For our fourth entry of the year we send the lovely tropical 🌴 flavoured saxophonic dance anthem that is "High & Low". With the brilliant summery production lovely vocals and great saxophone 🎷 solo it is one that will quickly get in your head and never leave.

 

The entry marks our first entry of the year to step right out of the trance formula that gave us two top tens including a winner but we think it is another big hit in the waiting.

Following two top 10 hits we get another respectable result, getting our third top 20 finish in a row and just about breaking the 200 point barrier as well. After being widely predicted to finish bottom 10 or just above that area this is a nice surprise for us.

BJSC 95 Entry :: Leon Else (feat. Oliver) ~ The City Don't Care

 

With a retro 80’s disco vibe “The City Don’t Care” is the result of a collaboration between UK singer-songwriter Leon Else and LA-based production duo Oliver.

 

Being based on Leon’s own experience and visit, to LA, the song portrays two different sides of life in a large city. The first side which is the more groovy, late night drive with pink skies, dreams and endless opportunity. However, the lyrics tells another, darker, story about emptiness and being all alone, just waiting for something to happen.

 

 

A little something different for BJSC 95, still in the EDM spectrum but with an 80s groove. Hope you like.

Don't know why you're predicting yourself to DNQ here, sounded like one of the safest qualifiers in the semi to me! (Also another great entry after the blip last month)

I always predict myself to flop whenever I sent something ~different~ or ~risky~ just to be on the safe side.
