As Alessia Cara is at #22 on iTunes and #43 on iTunes, it may have a chance of going top 40 on Friday

I think this will be a long-running hit anyway so it'd be good to see it chart this week.

Top 10 in early March is my prediction!

lots of interesting climbers:

Army #12

Elle King #18

Alessia Cara #21

Jonas Blue - Fast Car #23

Carlie Puth - One call away #25

Birdy #27 (it's 59p)

Great for Alessia and Charlie.

Alessia proving that she is the preferred Sound Of winner! *.* Jack who???

I still find it bizarre that 'One Call Away' is doing so well on iTunes now, with only Radio 2 of the big stations playing him. A combination of Radio 1/Capital/59p couldn't get him this high on iTunes. It's rare to see Radio 2 have this much of an effect.
Jonas Blue seems to be climbing very quickly now, wonder if it could be a #1 contender in a few weeks? Its currently #1 on Australian iTunes.
Loving Jonas Blue's fast climb so far, I do wonder how it is managing it though. Compare My Radio doesn't even recognise the artist name, so suggests it hasn't received any airplay at all - but surely someone must be playing it for it to climb this quickly (over 2% in the last update)?

By that logic WSTRN are the 'preferred winners'... x

Only in March? Way too late. If it doesn't get to the top 10 by mid February, it won't either in March imo.

I imagine 'Here' will be as big a hit as 'In2' was in the long term though, even if it doesn't peak as highly.

Math must be really pleased about sending the song over 6 months ago into BJSC now that it's huge [not the first time it's happened either!! ('Intoxicated' was the other)]

I think it'd have to get an unexpected boost from somewhere to go top 10 by mid February. Although it is gathering momentum so you could be right!

That's what I'm thinking plus the track is for months now available, this should be the time to get a push or otherwise it would be very late (although seeing Stitches needed more than half a year... who knows)

It should continue rising and will go top 10 eventually. Of course it's playlisted by all the relevant chart stations (R1, Capital) which helps but it is a very well-known song anyway. Heard it a lot last year!

Perhaps a knock on effect from its recent success in the US? Maybe heart have started playing the song too? If it is rising soley from BBC Radio 2 that is very unusual!

My prediction of where the 'future hits'/climbers will peak in chart..

Secret Love Song - 3

All My Friends - 2

Army - 8

When The Bassline Drops - 11 (sadly)

Light It Up - 5

Renegades - 6 (I think this'll be long running)

Exes and Ohs - 4

Bang My Head - 13

Fast Car - 1

Here - 5

Dessert - 9

One Call Away - 15

Stay - 19

Never Be Like You - 9

Bloodsport - 26

Faded - 32 (as much as I want this to smash, I can only see this getting a week or two top 40)

7 Years - 2 (long runner)

correct me if I'm horribly wrong~

Actually the top 10 peak depends on its streaming, if it will be popular also on the streaming sites then top 10 guaranteed, if not than it must go top 3 on iTunes to have a chance for the top 10.... officially I mean :D

no way will it peak that low, I'm pretty sure it'll be in the top 10 in 2-3 months time.

I can't see 'Army' getting top 10 officially, but I suppose stranger things have happened. I think #16 or so for that at best.

Alessia Cara will go top 10 I'd say comfortably, at least #7.

Don't think Charlie will officially get that high either, would be an achievement for him to hit top 40 at this stage, I'd have thought!
