Annoying generalisation.

I for one consider Rated R to be her opus (and surprisingly ANTI houses a select few decent tracks)

Who am I generalizing?

Number 10 with no radio support at the moment at all... This will be so huge and sticks for mounts to come!

Hopefully it reaches number one at some point.

incredible that 7 years is top 10!! Maybe Denmark's first hit since Saturday Night/Barbie Girl????

Isn't MO from Denmark? In that case Lean On was Denmarks last hit :D

Indeed, though on the topic of MØ- it's a shame we couldn't say "Kamikaze" was the most recent hit from a Danish artist :( (more a crime it was never given any airplay to begin with!)

ouch forgot about Mø :) there was also Emelie de Forest a few years back but guess Barbie Girl in 97 was the last UK #1 by a Danish act?

Technically, it'd be Turn Back Time.

Heart and Capital are both playing it now.

Exactly been loving this since late last year - with radio 1 A list support it would easily be a top 10 hit!

Yesssss. I want it to flop bad so she goes back to making decent music.

'FourFiveSeconds' (I know it didn't flop, per se, but it certainly didn't feel as big as her other recent lead singles), 'Bitch Better Have My Money' and 'American Oxygen' never caused that to happen so I can't see this flopping being any different. As much as I may long for another brilliant Rihanna track, I can't see it happening in the near future!

Great to see The Sound by The 1975 stabilising with AirPlay!

There have been a few other Danish top ten hits over the years from Junior Senior, Alphabeat and Safri Duo and then on top of those Infernal, Ida Corr, The Cartoons and MØ all scored #2 hits! And of course Whigfield had a #1 before Aqua.

Not sure 7 Years will be a #1, more a long running top five/ten, but very good to see them getting a hit here, I always approve of Scandinavian pop songs smashing in the UK!

Does this Zayn song have any pre-orders?

No. But that shouldn't stop it from quickly going to #1 on iTunes tomorrow when his fanbase wake up and download the single.

Wouldn't surprise me if it entered highly on Spotify as well, although it of course depends on how appealing the song is to those outside the fanbase.

Annoyed that 7 Years is doing well, do we REALLY need any more male singer songwriter types?

Yes. Yes we do.
