I can kind of get fans' hate towards Applause, I mean it's no Poker Face or Bad Romance but I still can't imagine it performed or sung by anybody else. It's defiantly a grower I remember forcing myself to listen to it the first time rounds but now I adore it, it's sooo infectious and makes me so happy!

Definitely my highlight from Artpop and easily one of my favourite Gaga tracks! It is a masterpiece that is utterly euphoric and provides so much joy :heart: :heart:

OMG no! Do you really think so? I know I was probably indeed a bit mean with some of them, but that's how I felt at the time and I did take a lot of time to think about it and put my rate together until it felt right. It just would've felt weird to give everything 8-10 or something :P I'd really rather not be the biggest flop though, I'm not the hugest fan of Gaga, but I do consider myself more than a casual listener ^_^

IT'S TIME. As we take a break from the MUSIC let's have a look at the posters. I will be taking you through the top 5 (bottom 5?) FLOPPIEST STANS.

 

In order to do this we have calculated the lowest average scores given across the rate from each poster. This is slightly different to BIGGEST stans as that is based on highest scores given as a total. (boring number stuff out of the way) - the reveal will come in two sets. positions 5, 4 and 3 and then the top 2 :mellow:

And so we start with Michael who protested too much about being a flop fan, but is in fact the 5th floppiest :o (or in nicer terms, the person who gave the 5th lowest average to her songs :')). Michael is a regular in the forum and is always quick to attack the songs he hates and stand up for the songs he loves. He isn't really a flop fan and is more a dedicated NAYSAYER in the face of steps-lite cheese. Well done though :mansoncheer: We also have Griff who has been very quiet on the site as of late but he did make a swift appearance here to show how lowly he rated some of Gaga's songs. His rates are always savage so it's no shock to see him here. And now a definite FLOP FAN, Johnkm has very strong opinions about Gaga's music and it seems to be a massive love-hate affair with him. Some very low scores for many of her songs shot his average points given down to a measly 5.4. We know you love her really though! :mansoncheer:

:mansoncheer: Correct D*, you are the second floppiest Gaga fan ;o D* has FINE / EXQUISITE taste most of the time but this has meant that many of Gaga's songs have been deemed to throwaway and resulted in poor scores for the lot of them. An indie favourite on the forum, it's quite good to see love for Gaga from D* whenever he shows it, we just need a bit MORE because that average is low :( And to those that have been here for a few years and those that know Nick, his crown as floppiest Gaga fan comes as no surprise. This is the guy that gave 'The Edge of Glory' a -1 and also the person who dislikes 'Bad Romance' :nono: A huge Britney fan, it appears Gaga attempting to take her thrown has clouded Nick's judgement. Still he does like a fair few amount of her songs as his rate showed, but those horribly low scores meant his average was the lowest of the lot and he is named FLOPPIEST STAN ;o. Tbh I was hoping I'd have been top, but an average of just above 5 is fair for an act who has MARGINALLY more good tracks than utter shit.

'Gypsy' is such a thrilling, big pop song. It's absolutely gorgeous. Definitely inside my top 10 Gaga songs (if not top 5).

Gypsy was set to be the first single for ages, then at the last moment they changed for Applause, and just as we said it would people took it as her being pretentious and asking for Applause and not relating lol. Well done! Gypsy might actually have had a chance against Roar - v. sonically similar and both empowerment.
