Watching the episode on the live iplayer I could see that 12 year old Bobby has a tiny bit of moustache stubble, I didn't even have that until I was about 16

I can't help but wonder what the show would be like if Laura Beale was still around.
Blimey at that ending! :o I knew he'd hit her but I was not expect those blows to the head; really quite brutal and shocking!

SCREAMING on Pam's S&M flowers!!! Also eek at Jane, it was such a shock because of its brutality even though we knew he was going to attack her :/

Also, wet Martin in a towel *.*

Bobby's attack on Jane was really more brutal than I was expecting. I suppose we can now understand a bit better how hard he may have hit Lucy...

I love Eastenders and their surprises but I hope this isn't a surprise death (although this feels like the only way Bobby can get comeuppance for Lucy's death without incriminating Jane.)

I can't believe that Diane Parish has been playing Denise for almost 10 years now either.
THAT ending was truly shocking :o I thought it'd be the one big blow, but when he kept hitting her, then the blood splatter :o

A classic episode of EastEnders from 16/10/1986 tonight on BBC4

EastEnders

Another chance to see a classic EastEnders episode, first broadcast in October 1986 and directed by Antonia Bird. In this double header between Den and Angie Watts, Den's demands for a divorce lead to a dramatic revelation from Angie - but is she telling the truth?

Hopefully more Abi screen time!!!! I wonder what ridiculously high profile story they have in mind for her now?

Looks like Bobby will be arrested for both Lucy's murder and Jane's attack then? Surely the ENTIRE square won't be covering up that confession?

"Can you tell me your name" made me crease, like babe she's basically dead....

I'm still gutted they changed the killer from Cindy to Bobby. Such a waste!

It really was, imagine Cindy through this *.*

Martin walking into find Jane half dying from a brutal attack and calmly asking 'Jane...what's happened?' was giving me 'oh no, poor Libby' teas
