'Dancing On My Own' is in my top few songs of all time. I am obviously NERVOUS that there is a cover version doing so well but will I like this? Haven't heard it yet but please don't tarnish the masterpiece. :snif:

The cover actually helped the original go top 40 last year (albeit on Sales only chart) so for fans of the song this can surely only be a good thing? I guess the annoyance would be with the select contingent who assume it's an original but this happens all the time much to people's chagrin (see Disturbed with The Sound Of Silence for another example :lol:)

It's not a bad cover at all, though Robyn's version should have been #1 for weeks back in 2010. At least it's gone on to become something of a cult classic that I hear quite a lot in various places, and often seems to pop back into the iTunes chart. Not bad considering its original abysmal chart run.

One Dance's peaks across the rest of the world right now are pretty underwhelming in most places, possibly because many charts are based almost entirely on Spotify where it was only recently added, but it's not exactly doing HUGE things on many other iTunes charts, I wonder why we've taken to it in such a major way?

 

It's a pretty good song but doesn't exactly sound like an international mega smash to me so I'm quite confused.

Love all of those except Iggy Azalea. Out of those, probably Panda and My House have the biggest chance of being hits here too. Maybe Saved as well.

I think My House has peaked now, though I'm sure its racked up decent sales.
