Why are David Guetta & Manic Street Preachers releasing Euro 2016 songs now? Euro 2016 starts on the 10th of June.

I was astonished to see Stone Roses at #1 on iTunes this morning - my first thought was 'which one of them had kicked the bucket? I had no idea they had re-formed, let alone were releasing new material! :o

 

I guess I should look beyond the sales figures to the music behind it, a bit more often... :rolleyes:

Manic Street Preachers - Together Stronger (C'mon Wales): Never thought they'd do a song like this. Like the Guetta song, it's a bit cheesy but then again I don't think it's possible to do a non-cheesy football song is it?

 

OneRepublic - Wherever I Go: I'm liking this more than I thought I would, the chorus is quite catchy, and you know it'll be all over the radio for the next few months.

 

Reggie 'N' Bollie - New Girl: Surprisingly good! Thoroughly fun and enjoyable in a Fuse ODG song kinda way. I'd love this to get to No. 1 just for the lolz :D
