Well done Liverpool! I would have thought that would have leant towards lean so a 58/42 is pretty good in my books.

I think Birmingham will be similar to Liverpool - which is significant because there is a huge number of votes available here - I think they said up to 700,000 voters registered!

West Midlands - 63-37% to Leave so far :o

We're pretty much half way through the number of votes and it's still neck-and-neck!

It won't be for long.

Scottish Borders and Aberdeen both voting remain! Former was thought to be a candidate for a Scottish Leave vote and came back as 58/42. Dumfries & Galloway now the only place potentiality to vote to leave in Scotland.

Still have 6 declarations in Scotland to go. Argyll & Bute isn't worth much but there are some reasonably big hitters in the form of Edinburgh, Fife, Aberdeenshire and Highland.

We'll need everything we can get from them and the remaining Londoners, but I feel like it may be irrecoverable by now.

Sturgeon needs to buy her plane ticket to Brussels asap.

Starting to become quite unnerving now it's getting deeper into it and the leave lead is extending more than ever.

Fife voting 59/41. Thats a good indication that Scotland as a whole will probably come in at 60/40 given that it's pretty much mini scotland demographically. It was basically bang on the indyref result and was seen as the bellwether for that.

Strong vote has come in from my county, very happy to have been a part of the Fife vote to stay in. 5 to go now and Scotland is very close to hitting a Remain win before the capital votes

Yes! She needs to get over there and put Scotland in a position to be seen as the successor state to the break up of the UK in the eyes of the EU. It makes an exit cleaner for rUK.

This is really disheartening, I'm rapidly losing my hope and my fight as leave extends it's lead, of course it's not a HUGE lead but at this point for them to be further ahead than any point so far is not looking good.

Highland just went 56/44

Scotland marginally under a firm declaration of a Remain victory with 4 votes including the capital still to go.

He is completely full of shit. Every economist is saying he's wrong.

We don't need to listen to them. After all, they know what they're talking about.

There's a lot of talk about how low our turnout is, but it's only a couple of points down on the UK average. At this rate the English vote to leave will be too big for Scotland to have saved with a higher turnout. There's only 4m voters here full stop.

Edinburgh has just declared 74/26. Scotland has officially voted to Remain in the European Union with three declarations remaining.
