Gove getting booted out 3rd would be excellent. Although neither of the women are a thrilling prospect. Both are utter horrors ideology wise
And Crabb's put his backing behind Theresa May, presumably to ensure that he remains in the cabinet when/if she becomes PM. I wonder whom she'll shove off the front bench if she becomes the gaffer, I imagine there's a fair few big names she'd enjoy sending to the back of the room.

I second that emotion.

I really want Gove in over that UTTER HORROR Leadsom. I'd rather not spend two months waking up in cold sweats over the tiniest possibility that she might win.

Same, she's really dangerous. There's something very sinister about her, she's like the kind of woman that would probably eat children.

Wouldn't trust her one bit. Seriously hope it's May that becomes PM. Leadsom vs May would be really close I reckon, and it would be horrendous if the former won.

After her pro-EU comments from three years ago were rediscovered, someone has now found some comments she made about the internet in 2012, suggesting she had no idea how it worked. She was calling for all websites to be subject to the same sort of censorship as films and television.

There is a view that the internet is in need of a monitor for obscene and adult websites.

Outside of cyberspace, we have bodies such as Ofcom and the British Board of Film Classification that continually work to ensure our children are not exposed to the wrong things.

This could be implemented in some way online, whereby a website would have to have its content “rated” before being accessible online.

While it sounds like a massive leap, the majority of new websites already go through testing when they are hosted to make sure that a site is intact and that files and content are free of viruses.

This would simply be adding another check to the list, and in reality it is a burden already carried by film makers.

She seems to have been totally oblivious to the concept of websites which were constantly being updated with new material, unless, of course, she wanted all Tweets, Facebook posts and posts on Buzzjack etc. to be subject to censorship before they were allowed on the site.

She does have a reputation for being a little dense when it comes to knowledge of important things. Whenever she became a cabinet minister, the first thing she asked when appointed was "Is Climate Change real"?

The department she had just been made minister of, by the way, was the Department of Energy & Climate Change.

Gove and Leadsom should both drop out now and let Theresa start to run the country.
Gove is out. The United Kingdom is getting its second female Prime Minister.

Great news.

It would be if they weren't probably two of the worst women in parliament. May literally sent vans to non-White majority areas with the words "go home" printed on them and the other one thinks that Gay marriage is a bad thing because it upset a couple of Christian bigots.

Gove will be happy, you know - given that he didn't want to be Prime Minister.

199 votes for May, 84 for Leadsom. Wonder if like the Labour party the membership will be tempted to go against the parliamentary party.
