Yes, Labour are completely finished in Scotland. They also have very little chance of being able to form a majority without Scotland (see: GE 2017), so that means we are likely to be under permanent Conservative governments (minority or majority) for the forseeable future. That is until the UK is broken up by the reunification of Ireland and the secession of Scotland from the Union.

Grim.

Can see Scotland maybe breaking away from the UK but it'll be 1000 years or more before a united Ireland. The people of N.Ireland want to remain in the UK.

The people of NI have been forced to be part of the uk for 100 years too long through sectarianly partitioning the island to have a unnatural unionist fiefdom!

A considerable amount of the many problems the UK currently faces can be traced back to that man having too much to say.
Labour should be miles ahead of Boris now with him apparently mucking the pandemic response up. Yet they're not. Why? People still love Boris and Starmer may be a better leader than Corbyn ( well anyone would be!) but IMO He's still not PM material. He has zero personality. For all his faults bumbling Boris has personality and people love that in a politician.

The trouble with Starmer is he literally IS 'Captain Hindsight' - he only seems to challenge or oppose the government when it looks like there will be a U-turn or a change in policy rather than actually putting on the pressure to deliver that change. He was actually still opposing the closing of schools on the day that the government decided (finally!) to close them, which unfortunately weakens his stance at PMQs when he asks why the decision to close schools wasn't made in mid-December when SAGE were asking for it.

It's pretty poor leadership from what I've seen.

Obviously he and the Labour Party want to win back the Brexit voting 'Red wall' voters - bit hard that when he literally campaigned for a referendum to overturn the result!

Anyone would be a better leader than Bumbling Alexander du Peifel the clown!!! Corbyn was FAR FAR FAAAAAAAAAR better than your precious disco citizens pos "prime minister".

Also, with the Tories controlling the media we're not that far off a one party state, so no one will beat them anyway, even if they had a dead cat as a leader rather than a clown with his dead cat on the table strategy. BUSES!! I PAINT BUSES!!!! THIS WILL GET MY BUS DISASTER OFF THE FIRST PAGE OF GOOGLE SEARCHES!!! disco citizens pos.

Well the voters didn't share your opinion fortunately Michael.

And the FACTS show that I was right x More voters voted for Lab and other parties than evil Bojo the Landed Géntry Clown. You saw the levels of propaganda aginst Corbyn and for the landed genťry party of the rich as well. Do you honestly believe that shitty sack of aristocratic waste would have won without the media hammering Corbyn and worshipping Bojo and his party of the rich?

Imagine having the mentality to actually spit in someone’s face like....

It's the press in this country Steve - journalism is an important public good and it should be treated as such.

Unfortunately we have allowed rich and powerful voices to control the majority of the media, leading to the whipping up of hatred against anything that challenges it and defending those who will help to uphold the status quo, and so we get this nonsense:

'Heartfelt message' - do me a favour, I'd rather he actually turned up to some of the COBRA meetings in February last year and actually had a strategy..

Yup this!

It’s worse in the States, I watch the situation room every night with wolf blitzer and am sympathetic to their liberal views but the way the presenters can literally have their own segment to say what they like to the camera really unsettles me, that doesn’t really happen in the uk.
