Longest: BJSC 81 - Nao Hiiragi - Requiem (Stygia Bootleg) - 6:11 Shortest: BJSC 71 - Rachel Taylor - Porcelain - 2:57 Median: BJSC 60 - Ecstasy - Exhale - 3:51 So half my entries are 3-4 minutes, the other half are over 4 minutes so all quite average really. Requiem is almost a minute longer than the second-longest, Blood (at 5:17, with Mirror Mirror at 5:16, I was going quite long at the start of this year) though. Surprised I haven't gone shorter than 3 minutes though. I could end up sending something upwards of 8 minutes but I'd have to find the confidence to send one of the amazing rock epics I have - that's the sort of thing I might spend an autoqualifier on. Or send to a spinoff like I did with Scaretale.

July 12, 20169 yr Well that was fun to work out, my average is 4:11 overall (not including spin offs), so I shift towards the #longsongbloc more often than not ;o My longest and shortest came right beside each other actually, my longest being M83 - Un Nouveau Soleil (6:42) and my shortest being the Llama song (1:27) :kink: In terms of serious songs, my shortest is Haiku Salut - Glockelbar (2:17), two somewhat anomalies there. The one thing I've noticed is that last year I took a drastic shift to five minute songs, with just one song (DIA) under 3:30 and this year only two songs have been over four minutes, with How I Became the Bomb and my current entry amongst my shortest ever at 3:05 and 3:23 ;o (excuse my geekiness please)

July 13, 20169 yr I started doing this but didn't get past the first song, sry, it seems really tedious at this moment and the result probably won't be that interesting anyway... Don't think I've ever sent anything longer than six minutes or shorter than like two and a half minutes. Not that I ever wouldn't. I might do this list at a later stage.

July 14, 20169 yr I think you did a calculation wrong somewhere. x When calculating averages for time, that can often happen, because your calculator doesn't "know" that you're calculating time and that therefore the number after the decimal point should be less than 60. To get around this, you have to convert the minutes into seconds and then divide by the amount of songs you have. Then convert it back into minutes.
