Closer is actually one of the few of this year's number ones (if it gets there) which I actually find better than completely average. I far prefer it to the two Bieber songs so rooting for it!

I hope they discount Let Me Love You :cry: I need that #1!!

I really hope the VMAs have some effect and gives Britney the push she needs to get back into the top 40 on iTunes. Great that the Carpool effect seems to be still going!

Closer now have already 10% before the VMA! and maybe in the next 1 or 2 days it will pass it on Spotify also!

Again, even 10% will be enough, it's pretty even on Spotify now and has already 10% lead on ITunes.

Either way it's looking extremely conclusive that Closer will be number one.

Why is that slice of cheesy 00s style clubland, Don't Need No Money nearly top 40? Imani really sounds like those high pitched female vocalists of eurodance around 2003 and 2004 like Annia from Fly On The Wings Of Love. Wish the production was more eurodance/ pop trance though like FOTWOL instead of the dull piano/organ house it is.

 

And l hope Closer is not number 1. Very lazily produced/sung song in my opinion, Cold Water I am not the biggest fan of but it is much better than Closer.
