September 10, 20169 yr Sia and Gaga will definitely be in the Top 10 because they both have decent sales and good YouTube but Sia will be slightly higher due to YouTube. YouTube views don't count in the charts. Also, there are plenty of tracks that get millions of views on YouTube but it doesn't always lift the sales of the song.
September 10, 20169 yr If YouTube views counted then Gangnam Style would have "outsold" Candle In The Wind by now  I'd give it 1 more year & I reckon they'll incorporate them, followed by Airplay, then that really would be RIP Chart! Edited September 10, 20169 yr by Ðøßßø
September 10, 20169 yr The OCC would never ever ever include AirPlay. The day they add that to the chart is the day the chart officially dies.
September 10, 20169 yr the chainsmokers are likely to be pushing the 100k barrier this week~ sia should be challenging for a top5 placing~ provided lady gaga doesn't start bombing down the spotify chart, a top10 berth is looking more than likely~ ariana grande could be close to going top10 with 'side to side'~ 'one dance' looks like it'll finally vacate the top10 this week~ :music:
September 10, 20169 yr I hope Lady Gaga and go top 10. Surprised to see Olly Murs climbing yet again and is now top 5 on itunes,
September 10, 20169 yr Top 5 albums will be Basille, Nick Cave, Ward Thomas, Meat Loaf and possibly The Beatles or maybe Twin Atlantic
September 10, 20169 yr Albums i reckon 1. bastille 2. Nick Cave 3. Meat Loaf 4. Beatles 5. Ward Thomas 6. Twin Atlantic 7. Barbra Streisend
September 11, 20169 yr Interesting that Jack White (or at least his Record company) put his Album back a week to a less competitive week, his previous 2 Albums have made Top 5, this new Album is Acoustic recordings but still will be expecting Top 10. CORRECTION: Album seems to be available on ITunes, it is just the CD that is not available until the 16th. Edited September 11, 20169 yr by timjimlee
September 11, 20169 yr he's on Jools Holland so top promos Jack White even if its an unplugged sorta Best Of
September 11, 20169 yr provided lady gaga doesn't start bombing down the spotify chart, a top10 berth is looking more than likely~ She has fallen to 45 today. Not looking great to fall on day 2.
September 11, 20169 yr New releases almost always fall on day 2, as there will always be curiosity streams on day 1 especially for a big artist like her. She's not flopping, it's normal.
September 11, 20169 yr Lady Gaga song is awful and nothing to remember. More like Drake farting but she is no black so no chance to stay high and being played all over UK
September 11, 20169 yr New releases almost always fall on day 2, as there will always be curiosity streams on day 1 especially for a big artist like her. She's not flopping, it's normal. Fair enough about the day 1 streams but it's still a harsh fall. PI won't go top 10 this week and public reaction suggests it won't climb in future weeks either.
September 11, 20169 yr not a harsh fall at all, she did 140K streams on day 1 and 120K on day 2, it's far better than the normal, most newies even disappear from the top 200 on day 2
September 11, 20169 yr Fair enough about the day 1 streams but it's still a harsh fall. PI won't go top 10 this week and public reaction suggests it won't climb in future weeks either. It's a bit quick to judge that when it's only been out three days you could say that about Zara & Ellie ' s new tracks (yes I know they aren't lead singles but still) which both missed top 10 & didn't have strong streaming to start with? I do agree there's a possibility PI could miss the top 10 but I wouldn't necessarily say it won't climb. It'll pick up on streaming again through the next few weeks.. The video will boost it too. September 11, 20169 yr Lady Gaga song is awful and nothing to remember. More like Drake farting but she is no black so no chance to stay high and being played all over UK SERIOUSLY. You moron.
September 11, 20169 yr Some of the record shops I follow on Twitter have the Jack White album on vinyl already. Are you sure the CD isn't out?
September 11, 20169 yr Some of the record shops I follow on Twitter have the Jack White album on vinyl already. Are you sure the CD isn't out? Looks like it is available to order from Amazon (so presumably Sales would count for this week) but says "In stock 16th September".
