Hoping Twenty One Pilots can overtake Major Lazer before Emeli manages to move them out of the top 10. Ideally it'd be Callum first, but he's currently #8.

Will James Arthur knock The Chainsmokers off the top spot before Calvin or Emeli?

That's a Yes then!

OK James song is really the best in the top 10, I'm hoping he will start doing good on Spotify, It makes no sense to be number 1 or top 2 for a week and be only number 80 on Spotify, Some updates Playlists put him there today?

I hope it's useful for some who like me appreciate a good bargain.

Gooddelta you may use this information as you wish each week for your weekly thread.

Was gonna grab a copy of Everything I Do, but the only one available digitally on iTunes or Spotify is the full-length 6:33 album version, not the much shorter 4-minute edit that was on the music video, 7" and CD single, played on radio and the hit everyone actually bought at the time, which is a shame. I like the song but not enough to keep my attention a whole two-minutes-thirty more than I should.

Thanks awardinary, might be nice to keep them separate perhaps, drive traffic into both threads. Great idea!

It just goes to show how much those playlists are distorting the chart

James Arthur at #1! I didn't expect that at all. It'll be interesting to see if he can hold onto that for the whole week. If so, and his streaming is decent, he could get a #1 officially which would be the first a male solo act from The X Factor has done so since Zayn with Pillowtalk, although if you wish to discount him as he was in 1D, it'd be the first since his own winners single "Impossible" (excluding that, Olly Murs' Troublemaker in 2012).

Calvin @3

Emeli @8 combined (19&22)

OK, James at 1 with more than 25% lead! WTFFF! C'mon Spotify! Emelie is 7 combined.
I take it James has performed somewhere to close the 0.13 gap on Kworb

Well, he was interviewed on This Morning and a short clip of the music video was shown.
