Sublime video, this is sounding very good too, easily his best song for me.. can't get the "look what you done" chorus out of my head!

Instantly beats everything from the last era for me on the first listen, very good.

I was already really liking this but the video compliments the song so well, even more on board now :wub:

I don't like the fact he's smashing BBTM and CFMF in the video. Liike gurl, that album and that song got you where you are right now and got you that P1 you're driving in and now you're gonna discredit that work? In my eyes that's losing much more credibility than making that record in the first place.

 

Anyway, the song's a smash and it's looking to be HUGE in the US.

I really really really reallyyyyyyy dislike everything from this era. His hairstyle which screams I am a sellout. Not the hairdo per se but he fact he wouldn't touch it for YEARS but now caving in. The video which is sooooo self indulgent and not even in an ironic way. The song which is not even that good. It's catchy and no doubt it will be one of the best smashes of the year but it's doing absolutely nothing for me.

 

He lost the essence I was so hugely captivated by for all these years (well, until Kiss Land oops)... in stardom. :(

I knew this will be another Daft Punk in 2013 situation when everyone loved their comeback but I never found it that good. Ironically, Daft Punk are involved in this as well.

Changing his HAIR is selling out? Clutching at straws I think. "Caving in".. to what? Yes that was part of his identity but maybe he wants to evolve as an artist and move away from that identity that everyone has of him. Or maybe he just wanted to GET HIS f***ing HAIR CUT and not keep the same look for over a decade because fans that loved him years ago want him to keep it? :lol:

I don't have a problem with him changing his style and aesthetic music or anything else-wise but if only good music followed suit...

For me everything he's doing right now is trying to appeal to the masses and evidently succeeding at it. I never said if it's good or bad in itself, I just don't like it and I miss the 2011 Abel. 😭
