I hope so! Hopefully it's a case of casual fans possibly not realising she's released so this promo can just remind them and In turn send it back to the Top 40, especially as you don't even need to sell 2k to make it now!

It'd be a bit of a hollow victory then

I read the first post of this thread and thought the 2007 Yves Larock song was about to get a new chart peak.r#

(which also charted lower than was perhaps expected - #13 but a huge club favourite back in the late noughties)

I keep thinking this too when I see that song being mentioned  What a jam indeed

I briefly thought she was going to perform Rise Up by Riskikid and Freaky Fortune, the flop Greece Eurovision 2014 entry

It would certainly have been more interesting

do we reckon Simon has already bought the rights to Rise Up and will be the xf winner single??

surprised the song hasn't been a hit in the US yet, theres been buzz for ages, think she was nominated for some Grammys, she was also in the news cos she performed at the White House, the song was also on Greys Anatomy (which is always good promo), but still nothing...

I think it will be, they often set up the winner's song in some way throughout the show (Cannonball, Skyscraper) and after last year's disaster they'll want a current song to cover and something not that well known so the winner can make it their own (Impossible, Something I Need)
Radio 2 has always been the "older" station I thought.

Noooooooo :( I know it could most probably be having a slow start but nearly every song I've loved this year has done nothing in the charts. To be honest though I think 2016 is a terrible year for pop music, especially compared to 2009-2013. The list of #1's is abysmal bar 'Pillowtalk'.

Pillowtalk is the only bad number one we have had this year. I find it unbearable.

Songs like One Dance and Cold water are a lot better

:ne: 145. Robbie Williams - Heavy Entertainment Show

^ title track from his new album (comes out on Nov 4)

92 Robbie Williams - Heavy Entertainment Show

hope it's a buzz song and not the lead single cos it's terrible :/ it's already out on Spotify too

He should release his album a week early to let James Arthur get a #1 album

On an advert that I assume will be getting some rotation, the advert is about him.

No need, James Arthur's album is conveniently out on October 28th now :kink:

Smart move by his label. They did it because they knew he'd be up against Robbie. He'll miss out if Gaga has big second week sales
