bit surprised Guetta is not top 1500 but it was available on itunes this morning when I checked

no no Major Lazer are just outside the top 100
I don't think The Chainsmokers being at #15 is underperforming at all, while there's a lot of hype around them, they're hardly the type with a big fanbase eagerly expecting the next release. And I feel like this has been put out quite low key aswell, so I'd say it's doing very well right now.

I meant on Spotify, sorry wrong thread

Oh okay, fair enough, I expect they won't enter TOO high on that either but the climb will be pretty quick much like Closer. I think it's another top 5 at least.
Very testosterone-heavy release week - it's like the male version of Diva Day back in 2008.

Niall's song isn't that bad actually. :o It gives me Hey There Delilah vibes... I don't know if he will be able to cut out a successful solo career long-term though. With him I think the music is very crucial since he doesn't have the "star power" of Harry and Zayn.

What was Diva Day in 2008?

I just realised that the top 2 are both of X Factor descent, Simon Cowell will be very happy about this and his bank account will be even happier.

I'm assuming the week Beyonce - If I Were A Boy, Britney - Womanizer, Leona - Forgive Me & Christina Aguilera - Keeps Gettin' Better were all released on the same day!

I could be wrong about those songs though haha.

Niall isn't signed to his label so I doubt it

yes he signed to Capitol instead of Syco

1312. David Guetta, Chris Willis & Cedric Gervais - Would I Lie to You (Radio Edit)

   what a gigantic flop!

^even the original is higher :)

1148 Charles & Eddie Would I Lie to You?

Because the original remains a classic :D

What Jonjo said. Britney, Christina, Leona, Beyonce and Alesha Dixon all releasing on the same day. I remember some bookies even taking bets on who'd be number one/chart the highest.

Omg  I was sure the David Guetta song would be iTunes top 20 at least!

Quite embarrassed for Niall that he has stalled at #2

How is #2 embarrassing? It's excellent! #2 is never embarrassing or a flop...

11. The Chainsmokers - All We Know (feat. Phoebe Ryan)

I'd love to see this continue to climb at this rate - but I'll settle for inevitable top 10. Hopefully the top 10 exposure will help it as casual listeners know who they are and'll be curious.
