Fifth Harmony so close to the top 10 !!!!!! Nearly have two big girl bands in the iTunes top 10! ... when did this last happen?! Back in the days of The Saturdays maybe?!?!

Excellent bit of disco house-pop much better than their last song which I really didn't like the first one was OK but was overplayed on that extremely annoying price comparison advert.

Considering how successful they were last year, surprised Little Mix haven't come back with something... better? Not best placed to comment on this type of music, but they could have done something a bit different surely.

This is different to current 'pop'. Basically doing the same as Lush Life did earlier this year.

I think while they were on the home run they chose a safe choice in line with their usual sound to come back with. I think, as with their last second single (Love Me Like You), the second single might be more risky. At least it's not more tropical pop anyway (as Cameron has basically said).

'Worth It' and 'Black Magic' surely given that they were released a week apart? Although the former did have a really swift chart run so I'm not certain.

The iTunes thread has really exploded tonight! I don't think I've ever seen it as active as this before.

108. Notorious B.I.G ft Nelly, Diddy & Jagged Edge - Nasty Girl

This song never seems to disappear for too long and it's almost 10 years old now!

Well I would say it was disco house influenced pop. Similar to Booty Luv in 2006-7, not quite as dancey though.

Really like it though.

I wouldn't say Lush Life was much different to pop at its time, it is tropical house influenced pop music which was very much in trend at the time.

The record for this year is 20 pages, when Gaga released. Wonder if we'll beat it?

I feel you need to google your genre's and sub-genre's

Now this is a tune!

As has been said at least the Little Mix isn't more tropical house. But then again they probably aren't that desperate for a hit they'd jump on that trend.

I really like the new Little Mix single, it was a great performance on X Factor, id love it to go number 1 but its likely streaming will block them.

I'm guessing that LM will push James down to about 0.5/6?

Idk where to put this but

Little Mix at #1 and Hailee being #2 would be my favourite top 2 on iTunes this year, by FAR! (Obviously it's gonna be a while for Hailee to overtake James, but hopefully she can do it by Wed!)

Both Lush Life and Thats My Girl are pop yes but the Fifth Harmony song is disco house influenced pop (also a bit like the Clean Bandit Tears track is) whereas Lush Life is tropical house influenced pop.

I sort of see where you're coming from with 'Lush Life', but definitely not with 'That's My Girl'.

I can definitely feel a tropical influence on Lush Life so I'll give you that, but I can't say I get any dance/house element from That's My Girl, it just sounds like an out and out pop song to me.

So James is down to 70% of Little Mix, in just their 2nd update! What a debut for them. Now if they can hold on and grow some more, that'd be great!

I doubt it, but I wonder if they've done enough to grab a midweek position in the top 40 tomorrow?

Fifth Harmony should be top 10 very shortly!
