London Hospice Choir being ahead of Jo Cox :o

Wow did not expect that!

My guess is LHC had pre-orders and Jo Cox didn't. But correct me if I'm wrong.

It could be that all the charity campaign tracks sales are too evenly spread that there is not one that everyone gets behind? There seems like a lot.
I reckon Clean Bandit will take it still. I've just downloaded all my copies.

Both had pre-orders but I didn't think these were included in itunes chart now?

Wtaf The Everley Pregnant Brothers - My pan

The Jolly Boys actually slaying with an immediate top 100 appearance :o I'm so proud! Go you guys *.*

Neither, it's deep house (presumably this Aloe Blacc collab is a vocal version of 'Sambal', linked below)

What a disappointment, to add insult to injury, is also tropical too....just for a change. :(

The word 'disco' in the name is confusing. Seems they are no more disco house than Disco Fries are.

Mate are you living in a a cave?! Of course he is , given the right song. More so than half the popstars endorsed here.

Chris Brown is a huge name but remember that none of the last era of his went top 40, there's nothing yet to suggest this will yet either! I wouldn't say it's "more so than half the popstars endorsed here" anyway....

13. The London Hospices Choir & Paul Carrack - The Living Years

23. James Shinny Davenport - Christmas Number 1

46. Liv 'N' G - Our Superhero (A Christmas Wish)

48. The Everly Pregnant Brothers - Chip Pan

57. Friends of Jo Cox - You Can't Always Get What You Want (feat. MP4, Steve Harley, Ricky Wilson, David Gray & KT Tunstall) [Edit]

83. The King Lot - Wings (feat. The Jollyboys)

271. Inspiral Carpets - Saturn 5

334. Terry Wogan - The Floral Dance

617. Nathan Sykes - Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

798. Galantis - Pillow Fight

What is the Glasnevin track, is Grace original or a cover.

Is the campaign linked to the Roll Of Honour by The Irish Brigade campaign that happened a few years ago. Although this song doesn't seem as political as Roll Of Honour in terms of lyrics.

Lol I didn't realise my Chris brown post would cause so much debate so I'd better clarify my point which is basically what Joseph said his last releases underperformed chart wise and he usually doesn't do brilliantly OAOS but that doesn't mean he can't garner a hit if it is a good song but that's more likely once radio plays begin in January!

It's the Green Brigade group of Celtic supporters trying to raise money - such an amazing ballad Grace but terrible as a male vocalist as in this version!

The London Hospice Choir campaign only has 555 followers on Twitter - I would say this good start is mainly preorders but we shall see....

Apparently William Hill are giving all the money put on Jo Cox into the foundation which makes me feel great, as I placed my £10 free introductory bet on her.

Seeing as I have £20 on Clean Bandit at 20/1 with a £400 return, I don't feel bad about streaming it all week now as I've basically done as much as buying the Jo Cox single 10 times. Gonna have a window open of it streaming on mute every time I'm on the laptop all week

DON'T MUTE!

Apparently it doesn't count if you "Mute"! You'll just have to drag your volume down to 1 or 2 instead or something haha!

EDIT: Although I guess that's only if you mute Spotify/Apple Music as opposed to your computer.

Ah really, thanks for the info. I thought I had found a way not to hate it by the end of the week

Is the original Grace a traditional folk ballad then?

Whatever happened to the, albeit minor, hype surrounding James Cordon's Christmas single for Sainsbury's?

The record buying public decided that while Scouting For Girls sounded good in their time, there was no real need for a return of their style back to the charts yet.
