I'd prefer Clean Bandit to spend 15 weeks at #1 than have Rag'n'Bone Man or Little Mix be #1 to be honest :heehee:

Me too :P

Little Mix are just awful Cowell puppets.

Actually, they aren't. You haven't got a f***ing clue what you're talking about.

Best way to deal with him is to just ignore him. Honestly. It works a treat!
I love the Clean Bandit song. It's classy pop song. Hope it stays at no1 until something worthy comes along.

Yes I'm nearly 57 and love Rock-A-Bye and Human. Both great songs. I like Little Mix too.

I think “Human” will be the next #1.

Had it achieved stronger streaming already it would have had a shot this week, but certainly next year (discounting next week as the Christmas gift card and TOTP Christmas effect) it has huge potential to go to #1, just like “Stitches” did in January 2016 following moderate success in the lead-in to Christmas 2015.

Little Mix are doing better than Rag'n'Bone Man on streaming however, and they will get a huge boost from iTunes Gift Card week because of their predominantly teen fanbase, so I think they're more likely to defeat Clean Bandit.
Tinie Tempah has put a 27th Jan release for his new album so a new track could be released in the opening days of the new year!

Won't go #1 though, no chance!

Oh yeah I think they'll do well with the gift card effect, but not enough to turn over Clean Bandit - then once that wears off Rag'n'Bone Man should take over on 6th January 2017.

I feel like Human, which kind of took off before songs like Just Hold On, I Would Like, Touch, I Don't Want To live Forever, and is still not climbing as fast on streaming as them makes me think it won't quite do the streaming numbers to make it to #1 overall.

Contenders for number one singles in 2017:

(Most likely - less likely)

Little Mix - Touch

Rag'n'Bone Man - Human

ZAYN, Taylor Swift - I Don't Want To Live Forever

Steve Aoki, Louis Tomlinson - Just Hold On

Zara Larsson - I Would Like

I think Rag'N'Bone Man will also have the Brit effect, since he won the Critics Award, leading up to the nominations (January), he could be in for a long haul.

I do like the Little Mix single Touch could also get a week or 2 in between.

I'm not feeling the new track to 50 Shades Darker, I reckon that will miss, there is nothing to hook you in like Love Me Like You Do.

Don't forget the streaming ratio is being changed in a couple of weeks which will benefit Human.

Music week will fill us in in more detail but he's some teasers for later.

Touch looks like it might just hold onto the top 3 this week.

The top 5 albums are all on over 40k now (Well, number 5 is just under).

JP Cooper is within touching distance of the top 40.

Kelly Clarkson's Christmas song is looking to make the top 75 this year, Leona's is not.

We have Spotify to blame for that, as Kelly is on more of their Christmas playlists. -_-
Nah thank you Spotify for boosting UTT, it is doing better on iTunes more than usual this year too though. The better Christmas song slaying ( )

Easily superior I'd say!

(I still like OMS, but I am glad UTT is getting more recognition this time)

Kelly has more of a future as a chart artist though, which makes me want Leona to manage the top 75. If she was on the Christmas playlists and getting Kelly's streaming, she'd be looking at making the top 50 this week.

Glad All Over has failed to make a dent in the top 75.

Yas at all of these. Crazy how fast 'Touch' has exploded compared to their other post-album singles. So glad 'September Song' looks set to debut too -- brilliant song. UTT is probably my favourite of all the modern Christmas songs so I'm pleased that it's performing better this year.
