December 28, 20169 yr #15! :( Sadly not! They'd be in the update if they were :heehee: Yeah I expect a lot of the Xmas songs will fall out by Friday, they're gonna be selling only very small amounts for the rest of the week and there's at least one day of streaming missing as always.LMAO. Sorry. I had the impression they went top 40 on the Friday just gone haha. Oops my baby... Well they've dominated the last quarter... but surely 2016 is Drake domination year'Secret Love Song' and 'Hair' were big hits in the first 2 quarters too! (As well as 'Get Weird' not leaving the top 40!)
December 28, 20169 yr Surprised how high some of the Christmas songs are considering they'll only have 3 days of sales unless people are still streaming Christmas songs even after Christmas and boo to having a George Michael-less top 40 (not counting "Last Christmas") Edited December 28, 20169 yr by Hadji

December 28, 20169 yr Can see George challenging for No.1 album next week when the orders start being shipped if they get stock back in soon
December 28, 20169 yr Can see George challenging for No.1 album next week when the orders start being shipped if they get stock back in soon Everything is still out of stock on Amazon - I have a feeling that Sony will push '25' rather than 'Ladies & Gentlemen'
December 28, 20169 yr I think "Ladies & Gentlemen" still has a chance of the top spot this week, it is number 9 on 2 days of strong Sales ( other Albums at top have had 5 days of strong sales). It is currently number 1 on the Best sellers on Amazon as well as top of ITunes ( for what is a very reasonable price for a double Album ). Obviously we don't know the margin of the lead for Little Mix and the price reduction for most of the Albums at top will have helped them but would be fitting to see a number 1 for George Michael this week. If not he'll get there next week.
December 28, 20169 yr Wow at Mariah being as high as no2 - will be interesting to see where it lands come Friday although I imagine it'll be lower it will have sold quite a bit over the three days of Xmas!
December 28, 20169 yr Does anyone know if Radio 1 will be playing this week's Top 40? My schedule says it's the biggest selling songs of 2016 from 4pm.
December 28, 20169 yr Does anyone know if Radio 1 will be playing this week's Top 40? My schedule says it's the biggest selling songs of 2016 from 4pm. No broadcast planned - it will be a Top 40 of 2016 instead, which will of course exclude the sales made on 30th and 31st December !
December 28, 20169 yr Author Does anyone know if Radio 1 will be playing this week's Top 40? My schedule says it's the biggest selling songs of 2016 from 4pm. Unfortunately we have no idea how much or how little of the chart will be touched on this week! Part of me thinks they'll do the chart of the year from 4-5, and the top 30 of the chart from 5 to 7, as it's an extended show? A bit like what they did on Christmas Day's chart last year - first hour was recapping the Xmas #1s of the century so far and the next two hours covered the full top 30!

I hope they play some of the chart at least. It would be nice to hear George Michael played on the Top 40. :)
December 28, 20169 yr I just hope the OCC website update the chart at 5:45 if they don't reveal the top 40 on r1 or they should just broadcast the top 40 at 1pm instead of highlights from big weekend. I mean I don't think anyone would want to here highlights from big weekend Edited December 28, 20169 yr by Hadji
December 28, 20169 yr #19 :o Coming for that 3-8-23-Out kinda chart run then! In fairness he has held on much better this week than I was expecting.

I think they will most certainly play the top 40 selling singles of the year in full, I can't imagine them playing Mariah, The Pogues and Wham on the 29th December.
