It's on iTunes and Apple Music now too *.*

I knew it.

It just sounds like a Sia song.

Sia's upbeats are very mellow and lacking real energy, and Katy letting her write it - sorry, Beyonce "co-write" (lol like Sia would be here for that) - means she got the same sound.

It's a Sia by numbers upbeat and it lacks energy with basic lyric.

Very boring and lazy and repetitive tbh. Sia's lyrics often are however.

Instant love. Thought provoking lyrics wrapped up in an easily digestible bop. Welcome back, Katy!
I think this is the most I've ever liked one of Katy's songs on first listen! The title is a bit awkward, shouldn't take long to get used to though. Please be huge.
Spotify Ltd., the world’s most popular paid music service, will run a months-long promotional campaign leading up to the summer release of Perry’s fifth studio album

Max Martin just can't produce a flop, can he? Really impressed.

Sounds more of a grower than something instant (in fact it's the least instant of her leads), but I'm eager to see this become a huge smash.

On first listen I was like "this is OK" but I'm really enjoying it on second listen. It's not a fantastic comeback - I'm used to my Katy Perry songs being a bit punchier, but I think it'll grow.

It's a bit of a damp squid tbh.

It's missing that Katy touch and energy as she made the mistake of not writing it and leaving it to Sia.

First listen when I just woke up was that it was "cute" but nah its anything BUT cute. It has BITE and paying attention to the lyrics it's really a very important song. Perhaps her most important ever.

I have goosebumps blasting it in my car as it all makes sense. Really quite brilliant stuff, I'm so impressed.

Not usually MASSIVE on her lead singles and tend to prefer later singles but this is starting fantastically. I am totally on board and ready for her to have a SAY. Welcome back !!

You are obviously not really getting what the song is trying to say if you think the lyrics are basic... ludicrous comment imo, it's a powerful message wrapped up in seemingly playful and throwaway lyrics which makes it all the more chilling and defiant. Listen again ~

it builds and builds, i love the feature...it's very 'katy perry in the streaming era' cut with every hooky max martin flourish in the production

album not out until the summer though, another single then...i'm sure her a&r have a lot planned. she's not the most original popstar musically but she knows how to DO eras @.@

It's very lively, and I think I like it. Think it'll be a grower, my favourite part is Skip's.
