The U.K. producers, Oliver Lee and James Carter, gained gradual notice across 2012, 2013, and 2014 with remixes of tracks by Willie Hale ("Groove On"), Wild Belle ("It's Too Late"), Bondax ("Gold"), Banks ("Warm Water"), and the Weeknd ("Wanderlust"). They also released a couple of their own light and shimmering singles. The first proper Snakehips release, 2013's "On & On" -- featuring Australian singer/songwriter George Maple -- was released on Hoffman West as a 12" limited to 250 copies and as a digital download. The bouncier second single, 2014's "Days with You," was fronted by Sinead Harnett (Disclosure's "Boiling," Rudimental's "Hide" and "Baby"). - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Snakehips 2015 05 All My Friends (Snakehips feat. January 6, 20179 yr Didn't realise Crazy was this big! I think it would have been more had there not been chart rules involved. Can't remember that much now but think it was selling enough on download only prior to its full release for it to have been number 1, and then at the end its deletion resulted in Sandi Thom taking it off the top.
January 6, 20179 yr Matt Terry managing to hold onto the Top 100 amazingly, at #96! :o At least he had a better chart run than Louisa's flop
January 6, 20179 yr Hmm, George Michael not making much of an impression. 'L&G' down to 11 and Wham's 'The Final' up to 31. My HMV had loads of 'The Final' near the window display but still no 'Ladies & Gentlemen'.We got the delivery 2 days ago. So I suspect there will be a section full of George and Wham now. ^_^ BUBBLIN' UNDER~ (70) 41. Little Mix ft Charlie Puth - OopsSo Little Mix apparently missed out on top 40, by FOUR sales. FOUR. Flops etc...
January 6, 20179 yr We got the delivery 2 days ago. So I suspect there will be a section full of George and Wham now. ^_^ Ah, so George might still manage a week in Top 5. Fingers crossed. :) Edited January 6, 20179 yr by highlander69

Imo Beatfreakz - Somebody's Watching Me and Rihanna SOS should have been number 1s breaking up its reign, iconic tunes from the time too, but only reached number 3 and 2 respectively though :(.
January 6, 20179 yr Imo Beatfreakz - Somebody's Watching Me and Rihanna SOS should have been number 1s breaking up its reign, iconic tunes from the time too, but only reached number 3 and 2 respectively though :(. Have to disagree with those choices I'm afraid. It was 'Umbrella' that made Rihanna, not 'S.O.S.' - almost easy to forget she had hits before that!
January 6, 20179 yr Have to disagree with those choices I'm afraid. It was 'Umbrella' that made Rihanna, not 'S.O.S.' - almost easy to forget she had hits before that! I think 'S.O.S.' really did help her though, she was seen as someone who was likely to remain a one hit wonder (sort of) before that came along and changed it, and she had decent success (although I do agree that she was lucky to keep getting a continued push until 'Umbrella' really sent things stratospheric for her).
