The Disciples song follows nicely on from Jax Jones "You Don't Know Me", it looks like this sort of dance sound is gaining more popularity now. About time something did...

I'd love that to happen! :music: they're both so infectious!

amazing for Disciples  always delivering a super catchy deep house tune

quite the underdog hit as well, top 40 with very little streams *.*

My first impression of this Disciples song is a good one, 'On My Mind' is quite a jam *.* I was hoping to be a fan of it after 'They Don't Know' was brilliant.

Didn't realise Be The One was still top 40, looking forward to seeing how high her next single can debut in the chart 2 weeks today!

If I recall correctly, didn't Blow Your Mind (Mwah!) have a top 40 debut?

If I recall correctly, didn't Blow Your Mind (Mwah!) have a top 40 debut?

Nope! Entered the top 40 on its fourth week or so :magic:

I had no idea Ina Wroldsen did the vocals for HDIYL!

she wrote the song too (I think), well Ina and Disciples did the song, pretty sure Calvin did nothing and jump on board at the very end

but yes, great for Disciples, best dance song since Alan Walker's Faded

They seem to really love playing this Ed track in particular don't they? It's passable but some of the lyrics really are poor.

Biography

Edward Christopher "Ed" Sheeran (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter. He was born in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk. He attended the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Surrey, as an undergraduate from the age of 18 in autumn 2009. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project, which caught the attention of Elton John and Jamie Foxx. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (read as "plus"), was released on 9 September 2011 and has since been certified seven-times platinum in the UK. The album contains the single "The A Team", which earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act.

Sheeran's popularity abroad began in 2012. In the US, he made a guest appearance on Taylor Swift's fourth studio album, Red. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he performed the song with Elton John. He spent much of 2013 opening for Swift's The Red Tour in North America dates. In late 2013, he performed three sold-out shows at New York's Madison Square Garden as a headline act.

His second studio album, x (read as "multiply"), was released on 23 June 2014. It peaked at number one in the UK and the US. In 2015, x won the Brit Award for Album of the Year, and he received the Ivor Novello Award for Songwriter of the Year. His single from x, "Thinking Out Loud", earned him two Grammy Awards at the 2016 ceremony: Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. As part of his world tour, Sheeran played three sold-out concerts at London's Wembley Stadium in July 2015, his biggest solo shows to date.

Sheeran's third album, ÷ ("divide"), was released on 3 March 2017. The first two singles from the album, "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill", were released on 6 January 2017 and broke records in a number of countries, including the UK, Australia and Germany, by debuting in the top two positions of the charts. He also became the first artist to have two songs debut in the US top 10. Sheeran appeared on Debrett's 2017 list of the most influential people in Britain. - Wikipedia

She could easily debut top 40 now... especially considering the streaming ratio has changed. :)

I really hope so! After 5 top 40 hits you'd think she has the name power to go top 10 on iTunes on release. :D

WHY ARE THEY PLAYING ED SHEERAT

!!!!!

Apart from his standout tracks, the rest of Ed Sheeran's catalogue is either a dreary ballad or him rapping along to a guitar. He is the king of filler - he should open a sandwich shop.
she wrote the song too (I think), well Ina and Disciples did the song, pretty sure Calvin did nothing and jump on board at the very end

but yes, great for Disciples, best dance song since Alan Walker's Faded

Tbh, I never really liked Faded that much, I'm all for as much dance in the charts as possible, but the vocals and the drop just really grated on me for some reason.

They seem to really love playing this Ed track in particular don't they? It's passable but some of the lyrics really are poor.

It's really catchy though - much more than the two they've skipped.
