Well this is a nice unexpected surprise! I'd heard about it sounding tropical and was really skeptical but it's not that generic I think, it's really great!

She has a lovely tone in the verses and it is a quite nice listen as a whole, but it's not particularly grabbing me and I can't see myself returning to it. I could prove myself wrong in a week's time but, for now, I hope it's just a one off and a treat for the fans rather than the start of a new project.

The "I will be right by your side" part is heavenly :wub:

Yesterday might've been lower than what some people may have expected, but that was only because it was on no major playlists (whereas if she released on Friday, she'd be straight on the "New Music Friday" playlist) but today she's been added as the first/track 1 on a playlist that has 750k followers (and is also high up on another that has 350k followers apparently)! So it's definitely helping and will be a much needed boost for tomorrows Spotify update!

This is an absolute tune. Best single since 'Marry The Night'. Finally back to just writing a good solid pop song. 9/10.

I don't like it, much too generic tropical pop, hate that fingersnap style beat in the verses, been so overused too. Perfect Illusion was MUCH better I preferred it as it was to use my favourite phrase "more lively" and also had some nice 80s style production and a big chorus. This new one is dull and generic in comparison.

It's so good, its the first song of hers I've played on repeat since Applause... but this is definitely better. Her vocals are what makes the track that next level, because I could literally imagine so many other artists singing this, but her delivery is flawless and I'm convinced. Complete smash!

Just read on the OCCs page that she's at #25 in the midweeks so far. Should climb by Fridays chart though. Really hope this eventually goes top ten for her and I actually feel positive in that it could potentially happen. The response is very good so far and I think this could be what gets her back on radio too; streaming is also slowly picking up too. Hopefully we get a music video too.

It's doing very well on iTunes but Spotify isn't really where it needs to be and i'm nervous it won't be in the future either.. so a hit, I don't think we'll get :(
