Posted April 17, 20178 yr Galantis are back and trying not to end up with another flop after Rich Boy. Their next single is called Hunter and is releasing on May 5th but if you can't wait then a preview is out there online. n-TmZYLsdoQ
April 17, 20178 yr Rich Boy was a real misstep for them, hopefully this is much better otherwise I'm giving up hope on them having another great single.
April 17, 20178 yr Pillow Talk also flopped, was a lot better than Rich Boy. Rich Boy sounded like a shit BJSC entry by a PC Music artist. But yeah, hoping this is good :D It's weird that No Money managed to debut top 40 yet now they're a lot bigger they can't even trouble the top 100 even after promo
April 17, 20178 yr Author Rich Boy was a real misstep for them, hopefully this is much better otherwise I'm giving up hope on them having another great single. PS: It's ''Pillow Fight'' :friends: Anyway... Pillow Fight wasn't really a proper single though? More of a 'Yeah we'll release something fun but not as a single' sort of thing.
April 17, 20178 yr Must be in a minority here as I absolutely adored Rich Boy but I'm definitely ready to be slayed by another song! Edited April 17, 20178 yr by lewistgreen
April 17, 20178 yr This sounds great! Judging from the preview. Much better than Rich Boy and they seem to have gone trap but done it well, I like the relaxing sound effects in the first drop, I fear the second drop may be a bit annoying though :( judging from the buildup.
April 17, 20178 yr I didn't really like either 'Pillowfight' or 'Rich Boy' if I'm honest. In fact I've only properly loved both 'Runaway' and 'Peanut Butter Jelly', still holding out for something I can get on board with as much.
April 17, 20178 yr Yeah let's be real both Pillowfight & Rich Boy were pants. Not gonna give up hope on them yet as their first 4 singles were all fab.
April 17, 20178 yr Pillow Talk also flopped, was a lot better than Rich Boy. Rich Boy sounded like a shit BJSC entry by a PC Music artist. But yeah, hoping this is good :D It's weird that No Money managed to debut top 40 yet now they're a lot bigger they can't even trouble the top 100 even after promo  No Money debuted top 40 because it was a brilliant, accessible song. Pillow Fight missed the top 100 because it wasn't a proper single, and Rich Boy flopped because it was poor (no pun intended).
May 4, 20178 yr I think this needs a good remix to make it sound complete. It's alright but nothing special.
May 6, 20178 yr Disappointing. How weak is that drop?? This pretty much. The vocals are practically the same as 'Rich Boy' (although that was my favourite Galantis single to date), and the drop is none-existent. I reckon they'll move on from this pretty quickly, because every song that has 'actually' been a single has stood out and this hasn't.
May 6, 20178 yr Pillow Fight! I knew there was a single between Rich Boy and No Money. That one wasn't great either. I'm not really caught by this song, not quite getting what they were going for. Rich Boy grew on me though its a great one to hear on a night out.
May 6, 20178 yr Actually like how minimal this is! Particularly loving that outro Edited May 6, 20178 yr by lewistgreen
May 7, 20178 yr there is definitely something in this minimal drop! after first sip I felt like devastated, then it began to grow on me slightly. At least it's way better than utterly horrendous stuff they call 'Rich Boy'. I ain't used to throw shades on music but this is something else for sure.
