April 22, 20179 yr Well Minty has been known to overstate chances of getting to number 1 in the past but in response to question of whether Steps can do 60k he has responded with "it's sales may fall off a cliff after day one, but it could well get there". 50k may actually be enough this week.
April 22, 20179 yr Great that they're #1 on the opening mids but there will be a huge amount of pre-orders in that figure. I'm worried they will just stop selling and Ed will quickly catch up, just as he did on Take That a few weeks ago, especially after the Jools Holland promo.

Going where nobody else dare venture over the last few months, it's Lisa Scott-Lee, of 'not a top ten hit' Electric and b-list at Capital fame and her cheery entourage. Obviously Ed's streaming will still slay, but streaming doesn't effect the album chart anywhere near as much. It'll be interesting seeing the sales today.
