Ayala was born in Río Piedras, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and was raised in the neighborhood of Villa Kennedy Housing Projects. He is known as the "King of Reggaetón". Ayala aspired to be a professional baseball player, and tried out for the Seattle Mariners of the Major League Baseball. Before he could be officially signed, he was hit by a stray round from an AK-47 rifle while taking a break from a studio recording session with reggaeton mix tape icon DJ Playero. Ayala spent roughly one and a half years recovering from the wound; the bullet was never removed from his hip, and he credits the shooting incident with allowing him to focus entirely on a music career. April 28, 20179 yr I can't describe how happy I am for this being so high already! It'd make my chart year if it could be top 10 next week   One of the songs of the year!
April 28, 20179 yr Puerto Rican realness in the chart *__* This is going to be huge, potential future #1 I think.
April 28, 20179 yr "Despacito" is definitely better without Bieber - it has lost its organic feeling with him on it. Still fine though, great song.
April 28, 20179 yr Ffs -x- Yet they play the far inferior You Don't Know Me, which is so crap now :puke: Nah man it is not!
April 28, 20179 yr Tbh I would LOVE this sound to become the next thing, and for all the ex-rock bands to turn to Puerto-Rico for inspiration
April 28, 20179 yr We really need new Jax Jones music - when will he release the Selena Gomez collab? Jax Jones going down the 'big stars' line now as well? Meh
April 28, 20179 yr Omg this Spanishy bop *.* I predict I will hear this non-stop in Alicante in a few weeks
April 28, 20179 yr Puerto Rican realness in the chart *__* This is going to be huge, potential future #1 I think. Same here -_- Bryan Adams record is in jeopardy :(
April 28, 20179 yr Justin Bieber ruining this song. The Fonsi/Yankee Spanish version is so much better.
