Posted May 8, 20178 yr Which is the worst gameshow concept that you've seen? For me, it would be: Shafted: - Hosted by a very unpopular host, Robert Kilroy-Silk, just plain awful. Don't Scare The Hare- - The lowest point of Sue Perkins career as the hare. Should have been on something like CBBC. The Bank Job- A rip-off version of Golden Balls at the end, just droned on this did. 101 Ways To Leave A Gameshow
June 1, 20178 yr Author Naked Jungle with Keith Chegwin getting his tackle out. It really did happen. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2015/06/05..._n_7517864.html
June 2, 20178 yr 101 Ways To Leave A Gameshow LOL, I remember seeing an advert of this with the people in shopping trolleys being pushed into a swimming pool from a great height. Looked insane as heck.
June 2, 20178 yr I remember Anthea Turner and her sister hosting Your Kids In Charge where children of each family would decide which adults compete in which rounds. The budget was so low that one of the rounds was people sitting on a huge empty stage crouched over a tiny game of Buckaroo.
June 2, 20178 yr I actually quite liked Shafted, even with Kilroy as the host, with the exception of its endgame, which was the first to use the "Prisoners Dilemna" endgame about 6 years before Goldenballs used it. Goodness, I really dislike the Prisoners Dilemna in gameshows... The Brian Connolly-fronted Judgement Day was pretty terrible (cancelled after 2 episodes), and Move On Up, which was one of the raft of gameshows that Channel 5 showed in its early years, was fairly incomprehensible, although it did have a very jaunty theme tune, which I've just realised is on YouTube. I haven't heard it for nearly 20 years and it's still stuck in my head - -wLzP6YaoyQ Greed on Channel 5 was pretty awful as well.
June 2, 20178 yr Oh, whilst I'm on a roll, "No Win, No Fee", hosted by Paul Ross, was rather dire. The "twist" was that Paul Ross only got paid for hosting the show if no contestants won, but the mechanics of the game were incredibly repetitive and unengaging. I'm starting to realise just how many gameshows I actually watched as a child. It must be why I grew into the well adjusted, well rounded individual I am today.

Sh, but you will have missed out on The Golden Shot :P
June 12, 20178 yr We need more gameshows like Gladiators back in the day. Physical challenges please. I have been watching Gladiators on Challenge, think it would have been interesting if they had a female gladiator with the same attitude as Wolf... :P
July 1, 20178 yr Babushka - just luck instead of skill. That plus Rylan. Tipping Point - It. Is. So. Slow.
