June 4, 20178 yr Over the Rainbow was utterly fantastic, I often forget how great a singer she actually is <3 She's probably barely holding it together at this point after how much she's been through and all she's done tonight, give her a break! I wasn't slating her at all. I was probably just expecting more because of the significance of the song. Somewhere Over The Rainbow was stunning though. :heart:
June 4, 20178 yr I don't think I've ever cried at a performance so much as those two, for her to be able to perform a song with such meaning to any degree after what happened is incredible but she absolutely put it down, especially Over The Rainbow. No OTT theatrics or anything distracting from her gift, just an absolutely beautiful performance of a wonderful tribute to all the lives lost. She really is a true star <3 I think with OLT it hit her more because she sang it at the concert and in the past couple of weeks it's come to be so synonymous with the events it's probably always going to be hard for her to sing.

June 4, 20178 yr What a closing. Just superb! It really was the most perfect ending to that show. Huge respect to Ariana for pulling this off in a matter of days. What an incredible young woman. Good Morning America are saying that $9m has been raised by this concert tonight.

None of this would have happened without her drive and determination to come back and perform for her fans.
