Top 4 race is wide open now - I doubt Arsenal will sneak back in, but you have 4 teams looking for 3 places.

Just goes to show really most of the teams bar Man City are having a bit of shit season.

Like I think you said earlier in the season the team that misses out will the one that f***s up the most, not the fact the other teams have all been better!

It appears to be that way at the moment. I think all of the teams have problems - Man Utd have a lot of control but no creativity, Liverpool's midfield is too weak, Chelsea's midfield is terrible and Spurs are an injury away to Harry Kane being spineless.

I think the key games will be the ones away from home and the games against the other top 6. We have to go to Man Utd and Chelsea. I think Man Utd have to play Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City. Personally I think Chelsea have the hardest run-in on paper.

One idea would be to take the teams in European competitions out of the League Cup, as they've got six more games than everyone else during the autumn anyway. Then again, given the gulf between the top 6 and rest I'm not sure that's the way forward.

Would UEFA allow the winners to enter the Europa League if that happened? If not, what little point the competition has would be lost. That said, the team that finishes second from bottom in the Belgian League can qualify for the Europa League via a play-off, so perhaps there are no restrictions..

I think it'll be one of Chelsea or Man Utd to miss out on the top 4 based on form - I sooo hope it's Man Utd of the 4. Like, really.
Good win today for Huddersfield, makes things very tight for quite a few teams down there.
Is there something wrong with my telly or is Liverpool's kit really that hideous?

It's our good luck kit

I actually like the orange one although it seems like a training kit!

Looking at the table if West Brom lose their next match which is against Huddersfield they could be 10 points or near adrift from safety, apart from them the rest of the bottom is so close at the moment. Even Everton in 9th place are only 8 points clear from the relegation zone.

Just when I thought we've heard every possible scandal over the past few years: Gareth Barry, Jonny Evans, Jake Livermore & Boaz Myhill have been questioned by the police for stealing a car outside Maccies in Barcelona.

What a time to be alive!

Tottenham are likely to request that their opening few Premier League games next season are away fixtures while they complete their stadium.
Would VAR work in the Premier League or not what do you think?

No not right now, it still needs a lot of work. It seems referees just use it for everything right now, which is against the point of it.

My biggest objection to video technology has always been the time it takes. So far, there have been a number of occasions where it has taken up to two minutes to come to a decision. In one case, the panel decided to review a goal and eventually ruled that it was offside by about an inch. I would prefer to continue to accept that officials might occasionally get decisions as close as that wrong (as happened in this case) than having such a long delay.

Football games are long enough, if it's a goal then it's a goal and we should just get on with it.

That being said, I'm almost certain we'll end up having VAR at some point in the future.
