Does anyone know if Murder on the Dancefloor is on US radio? Even if it is still far in the future: If Murder were to become a radio hit in the US, Crying At The Discotheque should be her next single there. Crying is Sophie's seventh most successful song in the UK without ever reaching the top 100, so it definitely has potential. Besides, hardly anyone in the USA knows the original Crying anyway and everyone would think it was another catchy song from Sohpie.

Yes, it was played almost 196 times on pop stations last week apparently (up from 20 times the week before), which would put it around #52 on the pop airplay chart.

Would there be any interest in a Sophie Ellis-Bextor: Singles Rate? Or would anyone be happy to host one?

I can’t remember the last time we had one, plus when you include her collaborations she’s got a pretty good list of songs.

There’d be 30+ songs if we included all her collaborations. Not sure if people would prefer to cut the list back though.
Wonderful news, I'm not expecting this to catapult MOTD to #1 but I'm happy she's got this performance none the less.

Sped up and slowed down versions are being released at midnight.

Not normally a fan, but anything that’ll help with sales is good I guess.

The new lyric video is absolutely horrible. I'm shocked. WTF is this? I expected a JOYFUL lyric video that's reminiscent of the actual music video. Not this black & red boring affair.

It's so low budget it hurts. When did Universal become so cheap?

Wonder if this’ll be enough to stop it declining in sales (streams) next week and succumbing to ACR? I guess probably not :(

I guess at least they are even bothering - she hasn’t been signed to Universal for years.

I am not even sure why BMG didn't sign her. She has a solid fan base which they can milk by releasing multiple versions of albums.
