Yeah, 'Wake Me Up' and 'The Loving Kind' should be the next two out and then we will have the perfect top 9

I really would love for TLK to last a few more rounds. I still can't believe they snubbed it on the ten tour :(

The Loving Kind is by far my top GA song. Although the radio/single edit of it wasn't great, same as with Untouchable.

Since it's divisive, I don't expect it to come close to the top tho so I'm hoping for a Sexy or Something Kinda Ooooh win. Tho I expect Call The Shots to take it.

Jay you should have put 'Untouchable [Radio Edit]' in the rate if you wanted that!!11

Sound of the Underground

No Good Advice

The Show

Love Machine

Wake Me Up

Biology

Something Kinda Ooooh

Sexy! No No No...

Call the Shots

The Loving Kind

Untouchable

I can't really argue with this. If you replaced Love Machine with Something New, it would be my personal GA Greatest hits.

11. Wake Me Up // 7.56

lmao at that thumbnail

'Wake Me Up' just misses out on the top 10! Released as the final single from the 'What Will The Neighbours Say?' album, it was the girls' first single to miss the top 3, charting at #4, which at the time, was considered quite a disaster! I think every GA fan will remember THAT Top Of The Pops performance of this song *.* A firm fan favourite, they've performed it at every one of their live tours.

and if based purely on the radio mix then Untouchable would be lower down for me as well! (Strictly speaking all voters should have only taken this version into account imo, I assume a few didn't).

I did, and that's why I only gave it a 7. The album version is an 11/10

'Can't Speak French' has grown on me loads since it came out! It is still the weakest of the Tangled Up singles but pretty solid.

'Wake Me Up' is one of their very best ahhhh  how frustrating that it just misses out on the top 10 here! The production was so edgy for a girl-group and the whole package is just exhilarating

Really strong Top 10. 'The Promise' is disappointingly low but apart from that, that's a pretty accurate list.
I'm shocked The Promise at 13 and Wake Me Up at 11 would have liked them the other way round!

They should both be top 5.

13. The Promise // 7.27

The Promise is Girls Aloud's 19th single, and the first to be taken from their final studio album, Out of Control (2008). This 60s-inspired pop song became their 4th #1 single, and is their 2nd best seller behind Sound of the Underground. The Promise was named the Best British Single at the 2009 Brit Awards - Girls Aloud's long-awaited Brit Award win (Sarah: "It's about time!!"). Their memorable performance of The Promise at the Brit Awards was nominated the following year for Best Live Performance at the BRIT Awards! Other notable performances include The X Factor & my personal favourite Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, which I believe is one of their strongest performances - and Sarah slaaayed

. *_* (Seriously, why wasn't this included in the studio version?!).

12. Can't Speak French // 7.38

The first Tangled Up single to drop out is the third and final release from the fan favourite album. Can't Speak French was released in 2008 and peaked at #9, giving the girls their eighteenth consecutive top 10. It seems to be a more divisive track than most on the album, with shady hoes like Jáhq hating it, but it's got a whole lotta love too. The music video was inspired by the fashions of 18th Century France, and is certainly one of their most visually striking videos. For the single release, they ironically recorded a French version of the song, entitled Je Ne Parle Pas Français

I CAN'T at 3 of their most overrated singles going out one after the other and missing the top 10! *.* YES BUZZJACK! SN - TP - CSF ofc.

'The Promise' I appreciate is what made them superstars and household names in the UK at least. But it's always been so run of the mill for me. Then 'Can't Speak French' has always been disgustingly overrated. I can't believe they went for that basic piece of rubbish over 'Girl Overboard' or something a bit more inspiring like 'Black Jacks' or 'Control of the Knife' or 'Close To Love' or... basically anything else on 'Tangled Up'...

'Wake Me Up' has always seemed pretty underrated/under appreciated. But I can accept it just missing out on the top 10. The top 10 is solid for the most part (or I can see why they're top 10 etc..)

If 'Love Machine' and 'Call The Shots' can leave in the bottom 3 top 10 songs, then I'll be happy (Lol. No WAY at that though). 'Love Machine' I find annoying and cringe and 'Call The Shots' whilst nice, is a bit bland beyond the production and doesn't really go anywhere?

Bit of a catch-up before we get into the Top 10! 'Jump' was one of my favourite songs when I was little - I agree with Jade that Nadine's parts in the song are the best and I remember having a huge crush on her in the video. The whole video in fact is probably one of their best for me; it's just so much fun and more what GA are about than the more moodier early videos (even if 'SOTU' is iconic).

'Something New' is a killer song and I wish it was so much more successful than it was. I have to admit that I'd probably not rank it in my personal Top 10 so I'm not too saddened by it being out already. I find it more surprising that 'The Promise' failed to reach the Top 10 tbh. I agree with everyone else that GA felt unstoppable at the time of its release and it was just a really exciting time to be a GA fan. So annoying that they went on hiatus after that era. I also agree that Sarah's ad-lib that appears in the live performances should have made the studio version.

'Can't Speak French' tends to get a bit under-appreciated following on from the other two Tangled Up singles (and 'Close to Love' and 'Girl Overboard' on the album) which all get so much praise, so it's pleasing to see it this high. I find myself guilty of under-appreciating it at times - it probably wouldn't spring to mind as a highlight if I had to pick out favourites from memory, but I always find it's probably one of their best when I listen to it.

'Wake Me Up' has secured itself as one of my very favourite GA songs - I'd say it trumps all the singles that preceded it tbh. Another highlight from their videography too, from the hair-flicks to the boob-jiggles!

Ew at 'The Show' being Top 10. I used to really love 'No Good Advice' too but I'd probably not place it Top 10 anymore either.
