(8.5) Blowin' a whole lot of gas: Tyler (2) Nothing Is Promised, Rih's joint collaboration with Mike-Will-Made-It peaked at #64 in the UK. It initially did quite well on iTunes making the top 20 but it didn't even make the top 150 on Spotify. We first heard a snippet of 'Nothing Is Promised' prior to ANTI's release but it didn't end up on the album, I don't think it would've fitted on there anyway! I bop to this tbh, I love when she goes trap *.* It's no surprise it flopped, I don't think the GP were very aware of it's release.

Sledgehammer BXhIT4MpRis Average: 5.69 All My Strength: Andrew (10) Lying cold, lifeless: blacksquare (1) 'Sledgehammer' is a haunting, beautiful Sia-like ballad that was released as part of the 'Star Trek Beyond' movie last summer. The song received little airplay and no promo so it's not a surprise it only peaked at #69 but I'm sure this could've done similarly to 'Just Like Fire' if it had those things. This is sooo underrated, should be top 3 in this rate  Sledgehammer apart from a 10 and a nine received mostly middling scores, with a few very low ones! ;o
July 14, 20177 yr 'Sledgehammer' is so, SO disappointing </3 Like... it's ok, but I wanted and expected so much more! I honestly thought it'd be a lot more euphoric! :( 'Nothing Is Promised' is good. Just not a song I go back to.
July 14, 20177 yr 'Sledgehammer' above 'Loveeeee Song' The former must be the least inspired thing she has ever done.
July 14, 20177 yr Author 13. Jump hN45YegL1eQ Average: 6.10 Got it Covered: Liam & Burbe (9) All scared: Andrew, blacksquare & HausofSZA (4) 'Jump' was released only in Australia and New Zealand as the final single from Unapologetic in early 2014 where it was very successful, peaking at #5 and going platinum in Australia and #10 in New Zealand but it was never released in the UK therefore it only has a peak of #150 when Unapologetic was released! This is always stood out to me as incredibly weak and that drop... I don't dislike it quite as much as I did, the verses are okay and it would probably have been the third big hit from this album if it was released properly!
July 14, 20177 yr I don't hate 'Jump' but I just think it is messy as hell. Would much rather listen to 'Pony' :kink:

ROCKSTAR 101 eMOIUUS8GWo Average: 6.48 Rocking these diamonds: Ryan (10) Big shit talker: Cremey (0) This was one of the songs that made me become a loon for Rih :o I remember listening to 'Rated R' and thinking how much she'd came on as an artist from Music Of The Sun days and falling in love with this instantly. I hadn't actually listened to it for ages until recently where I had another obsessive spell *.* (Cremey m8 do you want sacking) 'ROCKSTAR 101' was only given a proper push in Australia and the US where it did reasonably well, just missing the top 20 in Australia and peaking at #64 in the US. A remixes EP was released here but it missed the top 200 :(
July 16, 20177 yr I only realised my love for Rockstar 101 when I seen her do it live. BBHMM! for the win
July 16, 20177 yr Author 11. American Oxygen Ao8cGLIMtvg Average: 6.86 The American Dream: HausofSZA (11) Can't get the wheels in motion: HarryEzra & blacksquare (3) The haunting American Oxygen was released as the third single from what I guess was supposed to be ANTI and it's flopping seems to trigger that long ass break until Work. Tbf, it's not too surprising this flopped with no promo and BBHMM not even having reached it's peak in the US. I feel like the video was meant to be a 'moment' with the strong message (an IMPORTANT one~) but it just fizzled out. This is a rather beautiful song, very underrated  I still can't fathom why she released it as a single though, her head needed checking for most of the things she did in 2015 anyway ;o The Top 10: Bitch Better Have My Money Hard (feat. Jeezy) Kiss It Better Love On The Brain Man Down Needed Me Pour It Up Talk That Talk (feat. Jay Z) Wait Your Turn What Now Predictions? Edited July 16, 20177 yr by Andrew.
July 16, 20177 yr WHY IS WHAT NOW SO HIGH?? :o :o :o IT'S IN THE TOP 10!!!! (Yes that "joke" again. Sue me.) Ew at that non-entity of a song 'American Oxygen' finishing higher than it deserved to! I don't think I'll ever understand how or why 'Pour It Up' is so highly regarded!
July 16, 20177 yr I expect Man Down or Kiss It Better will win this. Though it really should be Pour It Up.
July 17, 20177 yr American Oxygen has so much potential but it's so limp and bloated what were they thinking~
