Sezen Aksu) 09 Jadakissnia // King Plague - Ave Plague 10 Varakë // Irina Rimes - Visele (Dj Dark & MD.Dj Remix) - Alteria match the 6 points we gave their first qualifier, with another goodun from them this month in the form of a twenty one pilots pastiche. 7 points go to Aeroche's ~heartfelt tribute entry~, a classic banger (and well worth the extra minutes of buildup in the full version :heart:) Our newfound faves in 2017 FSR Rontvia claim 8 more points with their Turkish jam (better than the Khaled version in our humble opinion), while Jadakissnia of course continue to be faves for us as in 2015 and 2016, and it's no exception this month as another spoopy bloopy jam gives them 9 more points. Varakë take our 10 with their encapsulating Romanian deep house track which should definitely be a big Eurohit if it isn't already. 11 Fljótavík // UNKLE - Looking For The Rain (feat. Mark Lanegan and ESKA) - A brilliantly cinematic offering, no disappointment here from UNKLE who still need to make much more of a breakthrough here in Persephonia x 12 Land of DW // Paddy And The Rats - Join The Riot - Truly glorious and unique, was much needed in the semi-final to break up a monotonous run of basic pop songs but stands on its own two (peg) legs very well too, yo ho ho *.* 13 St. Burbia // Tasha Tah - Malang (feat. RaOol) - What can we say, Punjabi trashpop is always best trashpop! A song we probably shouldn't stan this much but it's just irresistible, one of the catchiest entries this month and with great production to boot, a big grower and our new fave St. Burbia entry to date. 15 Deandria // World's End Girlfriend - Les Enfants Du Paradis - Totally chaotic and lacking in any structure but honestly who cares when a song is this much of a fantastic barrage of sound. Best played ear-splittingly loud (although maybe turning it down just in time for the headphone-killing noise at the end :kink:) 18 Kluminican Republic // Burial - Archangel - Our 18 could never have gone to anyone else, this song has been an absolute favourite of Persephonian audiences for a decade even though they didn't know what the song was called until being enlightened by this contest, Burial is a legend who can do no wrong, such a persistently fresh sound.
