July 26, 20178 yr That's just standard format for post, I've just not altered it. We did receive a Top 100 update today and 'What I've Done' isn't there. Ooh, in that case, where are Mi Gente and Real Life?
July 26, 20178 yr Ooh, in that case, where are Mi Gente and Real Life? Just inside the Top 50, both right next to each other ('Mi Gente' higher).
July 26, 20178 yr So, Despacito definitely number 1 this Friday. :yahoo: On the other hand, the number 3 battle is going to be very close. :w00t: I'm putting my money on French Montana. -_- It would be fantastic if Mi Gente is top 40 on Friday, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
July 26, 20178 yr I don't see Lana overtaking Paul Heaton. While she will close the gap i do not believe it will be enough.
July 27, 20178 yr Author A little album charts update: Paul Heaton: 20,766 Lana Del Rey: 19,861 Ed Sheeran: 15,428 Spotify data is missing for Tuesday and Wednesday
July 27, 20178 yr Really hope Lana makes it. And let's hope Ed doesn't get a boost from the Mercury news... 🤡
July 27, 20178 yr Author I just edited in that Spotify data is missing for Tuesday and Wednesday, surely with that considered (the album is doing well on Spotify), she'll take the #1? THOUGHTS PEOPLE?
July 27, 20178 yr I just edited in that Spotify data is missing for Tuesday and Wednesday, surely with that considered (the album is doing well on Spotify), she'll take the #1? THOUGHTS PEOPLE? Agreed, the Stormzy effect (streams unaccounted for earlier in the week) should be enough although it is looking close. Didn't think either the Top 2 would make it to 20k this week but happy to be proved wrong.
July 27, 20178 yr Calvin Number 1 on iTunes and it still looks like he won't be able to hold off Unforgettable by the end of the day. Going to be very close.
July 27, 20178 yr A little album charts update: Paul Heaton: 20,766 Lana Del Rey: 19,861 Ed Sheeran: 15,428 Spotify data is missing for Tuesday and Wednesday OMG ITS SO CLOSE! With streaming missing and maybe another 500 copies more today she should get it?! I can see her losing it over less than 100 copies.
July 27, 20178 yr Author OMG ITS SO CLOSE! With streaming missing and maybe another 500 copies more today she should get it?! I can see her losing it over less than 100 copies. Some more insight. Tomorrow all of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday's streaming data will be added in (whether it's estimated from the start of the week or real data), but here is the streaming "sales" for the top 2 albums from Friday - Monday (and apple music/other streaming for the whole week); Paul Heaton: 155 Lana Del Rey: 3,335
July 27, 20178 yr Author Is it possible Ed Sheeran could overtake both, with missing streaming data? :( He is 4.4k behind, so I'm not sure he can.
