May 2, 20187 yr The ending felt so meaningless because of how much we know about the future of the franchise. I understand they're keeping the originals for the next film but I really think they should have killed Stark or Steve in this. And then the other in the next film. There would have been more weight to it. Also, how did people react in your cinema to the ending? Trying to imagine being a child and seeing this.
May 2, 20187 yr Also, how did people react in your cinema to the ending? Trying to imagine being a child and seeing this. A little boy of about 8 or 9 was visibly upset in front of me. When it looked like Tony had met his end, he gasped and said "Oh no" to his dad. Then when Peter died, that tipped him over the edge. He was crying at that. One girl who looked like she was in her mid-teens was very upset when Groot got ashed too.
May 3, 20187 yr Opening the movie with the Asgard ship being slaughtered was so unexpected, I've only just seen Ragnarok so that was quite heartbreaking to begin with. The four characters who died prior to Thanos completing the Infinity Gauntlet I expect are fully dead, I know that's a bit obvious but even if we get the Infinity Stones back I don't think reviving Vision (or at least the Paul Bettany Vision we know). Loki could be alive still I mean, it's Loki, and I feel like him dying at the beginning was a bit of a crap way to go considering all he's done for/to the franchise so far but it also makes a lot of sense and gives Thor all the more reason to want to kill Thanos. The end scene was gutwrenching but like many others, the first thing I thought was "well how are they planning on bringing everyone back from the dead?". It was an awful scene to watch (especially Spidey omg) but as has been mentioned above they very much targetted the newer heroes and left the classic team on their own. It's nice to see the OG Avengers reunite but I think Tony/Steve are almost definitely gonna kick the bucket next year. Bruce could go either way, but at this point Hulk has become an actual icon in the MCU so unless they have a new Hulk come along I think Bruce is here to stay as the Avengers resident science guy. Black Widow won't die but I really hope she gets better in IF2 because she just has no emotion half of the time. Thor is 100% making it through no doubt about it. I really like how Thor has brought everyone together in the MCU lately. First Doctor Strange, then Hulk, now the Guardians. I'm a bit sad that both Maria & Nick "died" though. I thought at least one of them would've made it through to help sort everyone out in IF2, but I guess not. I LOVE how Nick called Captain Marvel though, which means he'll be in the Captain Marvel movie I think too or in the post-credits scene at the very least. Maybe he goes to recruit her for the Avengers when he tries to get Iron Man & Hulk in 2008 (or whenever), but she turns him down and instead just gives him her number for "emergencies" Who knows but I'm super excited Also Marvel is doing such a better job with female roles than DC. The scene with Black Widow, Wanda, and the Black Panther girl (haven't seen it yet) teaming up to kill Thanos' minion was amazing. Just think how scenes like that will get even better with Captain Marvel & Maria more invested in the universe.. Loved this movie, so much better than Age Of Ultron tbh but that is to be expected 10/10

May 4, 20187 yr yes bc that bitch still demands silence you wanna know what I demand? a condom over his head
May 7, 20187 yr Hello guys The ending of Avenger Infinity War is really to much suspense. The film is so much full of suspense. Iron man is most heroics character in movie though. Love the film. How wil you rate it guys. :) :) :yahoo: 8.6/10
May 7, 20187 yr Author James Gunn has confirmed.. Groot's last word was... Dad Brb. Just gonna go see a counsellor
May 8, 20187 yr It's 9/10 for me as a FILM, in MCU rate/ rate of films of this year it'd get a 10 or 11 though. The only part I didn't love were the Thor making an axe storyline, I thought Peter Dinklage was terrible in this.

He was fine, but I just cannot get Tyrion Lannister out of my head when he is on screen. I really enjoyed this, probably an 8.5 out of 10. I thought the pacing was excellent, some of the space scenes went on a little bit too long, but a real good mix of humour, emotion and storytelling.I kind of wish Gamora would stay dead for the emotional impact, but she will obviously come back. Likewise the end scene was fantastic, a proper cliffhanger!
May 8, 20187 yr I have a friend who watched this film over the weekend and he said that the film "didn't wow him", he said that after he heard so much hype about this film he wished that he could have enjoyed it as much as majority of people who watched it. But he has only seen a few of the 19 films in the list from MCU. Any possible advice I can pass on to him? as like I said he really wanted to enjoy the film and he would have an interest in watching future Marvel films.

I think you have to have seen a lot of the other Marvel films to really appreciate it. I've only seen the first Iron Man and not seen any of the Thor/Captain America films Civil War. I've seen a lot of the more recent Marvel films with the more niche characters. But basically it's just really neat storytelling. It's the culmination of all these films and all these little Easter Eggs that must really make it for the big fans. You've a cast of nearly 70 characters and it handles the screen time for them all really well, just the sheer size and scoping is fantastic. Something like this has never been done before and it's certainly not easy to full off. It's never going to win major awards but I think if he'd watched Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, Civil War and Ragnarok (although I've not seen it) it might have made the experience better.
May 9, 20187 yr There’s no way Gamora isn’t 100% dead, whilst the whole disintegration thing will be able to be reversed I doubt her being killed as a sacrifice for an infinity stone will be. At the very least her soul might be kept within the soul stone, maybe to make her into a Gamora-Vision hybrid or something but i think that’s a stretch

The dusties will come back, but it just wouldn't work if they were like Oh, let's bring Gamora back too. Her sacrifice was as real as it gets, there's no going back from that, Thanos did what her did. She isn't "trapped in the soul stone", she literally went splat.

May 10, 20187 yr Infinity War was brilliant, and don't worry even though it has more than 50 characters they all get their moments it was so much fun watching them fight all together And even though the title says Avengers, it's clearly a Thanos movie, and probably the best character in this film and has the most screen time, and Josh Brolin did an amazing job on portraying Thanos. The character development is great, except for the children of Thanos which disappoint me a little bit cause they didnt have that much development and screentime but that was expected since there's a lot of characters in this film.
March 15, 20214 yr Author Just been reminiscing about this... What an event this was. My favourite film of all time, btw. Takes my breath away no matter how many times I see it!
