The eagle-eyed amongst you (those of you who aren't Artist Mods and have a reason to know) may have noticed that the Glee forum is FINALLY no more. I've reskinned it as a Taylor Swift forum, the clear leader in 'artists that need a forum but don't have one'. All future Taylor Swift discussion will now go in there! Liam & UltraRedLight are the inaugural mods.

 

Hopefully this is just the first of swapping inactive AFs with newer AFs. Watch out for future changes.

My 16 year old heart weeps for the Glee forum :kink: but a brilliant swap after the Taylor forum had quite a lot of demand a couple of years ago! Feels right that it should be created now at last when her new era is seemingly around the corner.

 

I am sure Liam and Sam will be fabulous Taylor mods *.*

Great to see! I won't be using the forum much myself as I'm not a fan but it's bound to generate infinite more discussion than Glee in 2017. Great to see some progressive being made.

We've been calling for Glee to go for years, so it's good to see it's finally happened.

Oh does this mean you've replaced Glee with Swift, in other words the only way your powers could get a new forum up is to replace an existing one? :P

 

So glad to see the Swizzler get her own forum :cheer: one of the few artists who would get enough traffic for their own forum I think (whether or not it brings new members to the site)

Ha, you can sound mocking if you want. I actually didn't realise that they are under the same options as the rest of the forums and assumed they were off on their own spiritual plane in the parts of the Admin CP that are unavailable to me somewhere - I had always missed them when I was doing my other rounds. There is a little truth in it being complicated as I'm fairly sure I don't have the permissions for the gallery which leaves that side wanting and I'd feel apprehensive about setting a new one up right now hence why I'm just stripping old ones.

Possible future changes to AFs, I wonder if a check on AF mods is due? I noticed that the Elvis mods have been absent for a while as has one of the Darius mods. :unsure: Perhaps send a pm to them and then advertise for new ones after a period of time? Just an idea that has been floating through my brain recently...

The likely outcome is, certainly for Elvis because it isn't a unique forum, that we'll get rid of them. U2 and Take That (the latter to be merged with Robbie) are also likely goners. I think the time has passed to save them.

 

Darius is slightly safer but even for THE ONLY DARIUS FORUM ON THE NET™ it gets like 2 posts a month, so it's not doing a whole lot to help us. But there's a few forums that will get redressed before we get rid of it, largely because of that status. And I'm not going to get rid of it on a whim for a Julia Michaels forum or something so any Darius loons reading this may rest easy for a little while longer.

Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber forums are now live (mods and pictures still being sorted)! Elvis and U2 are dead! Their topics have been moved into retro and indie respectively.

 

I picked Elvis over Take That in the end because the mods and the forum is still barely active as opposed to completely dead. The Robbie-Take That merger is still likely happening.
