Darius does actually have quite a big pool of non-Lounge users compared to other forums though, it's not just Snakey posting constantly. Miley, on the other hand...

Before he started randomly posting there, there was next to no activity in it though, despite most of the members there only posting in that one forum.

Out of interest, I've just Googled each of the forums (minus the new 4) to see how likely it is people could stumble upon them. This is what I got:

Darius: 2nd result

Girls Aloud: Top result

Katy Perry: 8th result

Kylie and Dannii Minogue: Top result (6th for just Kylie, 4th for just Dannii)

Lady Gaga: 24th result

Little Mix: 2nd result

Madonna: 19th result

Miley Cyrus: 60th result (although that's a 'Least Favourite Single' thread - the actual forum isn't in the Top 200)

MKS & Sugababes: 2nd result (3rd for just MKS, 2nd for just Sugababes)

One Direction: 2nd result

Pink: 11th result

Rihanna: 17th result

Robbie Williams: Top result

The Saturdays: 2nd result

Take That: 3rd result

Will Young: Top result

I am not going to fall out with anyone over this but we try really hard over on RW to keep it active & we usually are mid way in the AF chart so that must mean something , it is impossible to get new posters & I understand that is Robbie is an older artist & would not necessarily appeal to younger folk but still when he released Candy on YT there were a heck of a lot of young posters there , however I think it was the song that appealed to them & they would normally never take an interest in Robbie

 

I am those on high on here who make these decisions will leave us as we are ...

Quite a few Darius fans used to post in the general forums. I used to post in the lounge, politics, retro and occasionally others but it ain't much fun getting trolled all the time. Why go where one isn't welcome?

How were you locked out? I'd hope that you're an isolated case.

 

And I think you'll find the atmosphere on the board is much friendlier than it used to be so don't write the rest of us off forever, if nothing else, if you represent your forum enough it'll remind the rest of us that you exist and are active. Even if we make plots to get rid of your forums (which probably won't happen while you're making a case for them).

Forgot my password and couldn't reset it because I never got the e-mail. Gave up trying and then miraculously last night I got in. I must have hit on the right password or my hotmail must have been recognised again.

 

I even tried to re-register as Baytree1 with my Google account and a new password. No dice.

 

I will stop moaning and give other forums a shot again.

Judging by the post count numbers that Riser posted, it seems Robbie/Take That really don't need merging.

 

I think Darius should be the next one to go, I know you're trying to get it more active again Snakey but it really is flogging a dead horse at this point.

 

It is more active more this week from everyone not just me and there is a decent community on there. We don't just talk about Darius.

 

Anyway why does another Artist Forum on here need to go anyway?

Really though we're just trying to modernise the site, we need more traffic and new posters or the site is quite frankly done for, and it's not a great image for the site to still have a forum for Darius and Robbie and Take That :lol:

Being rude and huffy over the mere thought of merging a forum isn't te way to go :lol: You're welcome to have a pop forum thread for all things Robbie still, but I doubt it will be a while before he goes anyway, Take That will be in danger first but ideally they'd be merged. I on't think anything else will be done for a while anyway as we've stripped the really dead ones and now probably Miley.

Merge the TT and Robbie forums, let the fans slog it out and give any survivors a thread in the pop forum. Solved.

Dont understand why we don't get rid of Will Young before anyone else tbh! at least TT and Robbie still manage top 40s, the Will Young forum is dead as a dodo and he's far from relevant in comparison to them.
