Shame all the smaller artists who've been moaning about this for years.

Playing an album in order is just common sense, and anyone who wants to listen to a random selection can skip to them!! (This was only ever an issue on the mobile version iirc though)

For my own personal tastes this album has a lot of replay value!

I love the contrast of sounds and styles we get on this album it’s definitely her most daring and experimental work to date but I think she pulls it off really well. I hope we get a long campaign and big sales there’s plenty of single choices on this album though.

I’m a definite fan! I can see why 25 may have been more instant to some as it is the more commercial of the two but I’d definitely encourage people to give this repeated listens -_-

Adele finally realising her true DIVA potential with that move on Spotify!!!
I was overwhelmed by second part of the album when I originally listened but today I dedicated myself to listen again and Hold On and To Be Loved are gorgeous ...they totally went unnoticed the first time I listened!!!

Glad to see Adele's spotify request go through. A shame it took Adele requesting it to be heard/done though.

The second day streams globally didn't drop as much as I thought which is good. It may hold up decently on streaming.

Excited for the special tonight. I hope we see a lot of her songs rise up iTunes/Apple Music once more (and then spotify tomorrow/Tuesday).

Edit: Well the set list I found for tonight is already wrong! "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" is currently being performed!

I'm not sure that I can call myself as Adele's music fan, just follow to her some big singles what were really great and never listen her albums more than twice.

But also like her as an artist with an unique charisma.

I haven't listened the new album yet, only the first single and Griffith's live of Love Is A Game.

Though the second song is similar to Frank Sinatra style a lot... I like this fact and I think this song is very fitting to her persona.

She performed this very good and I suppose she has reached one more big song for her further GH catalogue. Well done.

The ITV special was really good! Loved it more than the CBS special.
I really hope the TV Special boosts her sales this week as it was utterly spellbindingly brilliant - so much better than I was even expecting. Smashed it out the park.
Wow that ITV special was absolutely STUNNING. She's just an unbelievably talented singer, I've never seen anyone make everything look so effortless.

She was jaw droppingly fantastic on her ITV Special. Just wow!

Plus Hold On is already being used in an advert - making me like it even more.

The ITV special was leaps and bounds better than the CBS one. Her vocals were incredible, again better than ever! The celebrity interaction was a lot better and her just being able to shine/interact with the audience instead of an interview worked so much better.

Emma Thompson living her best life >>>

Hold On sounded incredible once again!

The audience with special was absolutely brilliant from start to finish.

These things are always a bit cloying to the artists involved, but it certainly didn't feel sycophantic as a certain bitter presenter has tweeted. I took advantage to skip some of the celeb questioning, although the ones I did watch seemed fairly decent questions and stuff the audience at home might actually care about.

I really hope ITV do more of these with other artists but it's hard to think of names big enough to carry these off. There's a few American names I can think of like Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran could probably do one if it was soon before his star fades and then you're looking at bands from earlier in the 2000s like The Killers, (I know their American but there adoptive Brits), Arctic Monkeys or Coldplay probably (who likely wouldn't do this kind of thing as it doesn't fit their image) but I'd imagine some of the magic would be lost (all American's seem to have done the original run, I don't really remember them to be honest. I've seen a repeat of the Al Murray pub landlord ones and that's about it).

But most current pop stars don't really have name recognition outside their own fans, and those that do don't have enough material behind them yet to do this.

Glad to hear that the audience wasn't entirely celebs as well.

I’d love a Gaga one or Rihanna when she comes back. (Beyoncé could probably pull one off as well)

I love these kinds of shows though it’s nice to see music shows on TV as they’re such a rare thing in this day and age!

I would love to see more of these TV artist specials for sure. Good to see any kind of music show on primetime TV, could even be a bit of a boost for the charts and lead to a bit more investment from the general public.

OMG the thought of a RiRI comeback special.... :cheeseblock:

I was thinking I'm sure I don't remember my Spotify ever having shuffle as the default option for albums. Makes sense it is just the mobile version which I do not use.

Glad they have changed that anyway, that's a shockingly awful design choice. Who listens to albums on shuffle...?

Off the top of my head only a few have been done the last decade or so? Celine Dion did one way back for her Taking Chances album, Michael Bublé at some point and Adele.

I think there are plenty of artists this could work for:

Beyoncé

Taylor Swift

Ed Sheeran

Dua Lipa

Lady Gaga

Rihanna

Miley Cyrus

Bruno Mars

Harry Styles

Arctic Monkeys

Justin Bieber

Sam Smith

Michael Ball/Alfie Boe

etc. etc.

You also have "legacy" acts who still do decently/have a big catalogue of hits and pull in strong touring numbers; Elton John/Kylie Minogue/The Rolling Stones etc.
