How did Baytree's posts count when the Darius forum's posts as a whole didn't?

Brilliant post total there for Taylor Swift, I found myself checking in to see what was going on LOADS this week in there so props to the mods for creating and maintaining such good discussions :wub: Oops, can't say the same for Darius :heehee:

erm what is up with Darius being excluded from the chart just because the mods want to sabotage his forum? :blink:

 

Its unbelievably ridiculous.

They even removed artist forums from top10 forums so we can't extrapolate the post numbers for Darius.

Can we just let Darius go? I enjoyed some of his tunes back in the day but I haven't seen him do anything for 10+ years and I only see discussion of him when people are talking about closing his forum tbh.

Yes why can't we appreciate both the achievements of the Taylor and Darius forums this week and why can't that be reflected in the artist forum. Contrary to what some Buzzjackers may think, the vast majority of discussion this week on the Darius forum was about Darius Campbell-Danesh. They could have got rid of the threads some had an issue with (the Darius fanfic page, the threads about other Dariuses and the Darius username rate thread) from the total and still let us chart!

 

I am sure at least a few of those 600 Taylor Swift forum posts were off topic anyway!

Baytree has worked very hard I tell you to generate RELEVANT discussion about Darius the singer himself on that forum. She is more responsible than me for the revival of the Darius forum.

 

 

 

 

 

We knew there was shenanigans going on when the chart wasn't posted.

The same thing would've happened if it were posted Sunday night as usual :P

 

I think it's fair to exclude the Darius forum and celebrate genuine achievements rather than al of the spam and shitposting that's going on in there tbh.

Lol at Darius not even being included yet the "spammy" posters like cqm, Michael and myself's posts are never not included in the chart (even the deleted posts) :')

Well if the moderators decide the Darius forum does go (hopefully to the retro lounge as a distinct subforum) at least it is going out with a bang rather than a whimper! I still hope it won't go from the artist forums though, especially now it is busy and that Baytree has driven so much relevant discussion there recently amongst the main members of the Darius forum about Darius Campbell-Danesh.

 

Darius has done a lot over the last 10 years, just using the world of drama to showcase his singing voice rather than releasing singles.

It seems like ever since the revival in popularity of the Darius forum happened people have been trying to undermine the efforts that the likes of Hissmobile and Baytree have put into trying to save the forum. I was all for it going when it was a wasteland but it's had a turnaround now.

 

Let's see how it does this week without the shitposting anyway, I'm sure it'll still have more posts than Miley Cyrus, who by the way just released a single the other week so really should be getting enough posts to make the top 10 if it's a sustainable forum. :)

It is a genuine achievement though that has gone there I think, considering the Darius forum was pretty much dead until recently. Yeah there were a few dubious threads this week, I agree, but most of the discussion on the Darius forum was about Darius Campbell-Danesh and Baytree in particular has been brilliant in driving that discussion on there which the other users have taken part in.

I agree, and concerning my posts there this week I would say the vast majority of stuff I have posted on the Darius Forum this week has been relevant stuff about Darius Campbell-Danesh.

Im sorry but I think it is rather fair that Darius forum is excluded this week due to the amount of spam that was going on there :lol: If Darius forum wants a win its best to create discussion about the man himself not about leaders called Darius etc.

If Darius wants to be taken seriously as a forum then maybe don#t have a thred where one person posts one pic per post over and over or have fan fic threads.
