Posted September 20, 20177 yr 11th Wide Awake = 6 Votes k0BWlvnBmIE Welcome to Round 14 and the latest song to lose it's place is 'Wide Awake' which received 6 votes in a pretty tight close knit battle as this finishes just outside the final 10 in 11th place. A beautiful and poignant ballad that finished off the highly successful 'Teenage Dream' era on a wonderfully high note with lyrics that dealt with the difficult lows of her divorce from Russell Brand. Everything from the beautiful production and Katy's brilliant vocals which gives her performance such texture and personality. So in all an elegant and stylish song that Katy really sells well and makes this a definite standout in her fantastic discography. As for the other results 'WUIV' received 5 votes, 'CG' & 'LFN' both got 4 votes each, while 'Roar' got 3, 'HNC' got 2 and finally 'E.T.' & 'DH' got 1 vote each. X The song is great! Although I probably wouldn't mind it going out soon-ish looking at the list. 'California Gurls' deserves to go before it anyway, also probably 'Dark Horse' and CTTR.
