Posted October 8, 20177 yr Mine was Be The One when I was on holiday. I fell in love with it pretty much instantly and it inspired me to check out Last Dance and New Love. The album fully cemented her as my new fave!
October 8, 20177 yr New Rules. I’d seen her name crop up on here but never checked her out, until YouTube suggested NR and it went from there!
October 8, 20177 yr Be The One I first heard it on Annie Mac's radio show and it was love on first listen
October 8, 20177 yr Be The One quite a while back. I liked it at the time but it hit me much more in its second life!
October 8, 20177 yr Be The One when it was on the R1 playlist the first time round and she was shortlisted for BBC sound Of.
October 9, 20177 yr Mine was 'Last Dance' when the music video was playing on 4music! To this day it remains my favourite Dua song.
October 9, 20177 yr Be the one pretty much when it premiered!!! (And I was gonna send it to bjsc but I got bored and the next month about 5 others tried to send it ffs 😂😂)
October 9, 20177 yr Last Dance and I was distinctly underwhelmed. Hotter than Hell next, similar response. Be The One (re-release) on completely converted me though :o
October 10, 20177 yr The first I heard was Be The One when it took off across multiple European Charts, I was thinking then how odd that a British female was smashing it there but had done nothing here prior? Fortunately it was all about to change :D
October 11, 20177 yr Hotter Than Hell, which was underwhelming to me so I didn't get the hype for her as an artist. Should've started with Be The One or Last Dance but I got there eventually :heehee:
October 11, 20177 yr New Love, I remember finding it on one of those blogs looking for bjsc potentials and I thought it was OK (now probably the weakest on the album bar maybe Garden) but filed her under having potential and look out for her releasing a banger soon, and then Be The One came and the rest is history *.*
