After snatch game my rankings are:

Monet made me SO happy! She slayed as Maya and Eureka/Aqauria did amazing as well. Kameron did a lot better than I thought he would and can see him being a bit of a dark horse now. Asia/The Vixen mess was so disappointing. Miz Cracker is making me frustrated now. Week after week he does worse than I thought he would. It's a close call between Aquaria and Eureka for the crown at the moment. Monet is starting to gain some momentum though so will be interesting to see if he can keep that up. Kameron/Aisa/Cracker are still in the running if they can amp things up over the next few weeks.

 

The Vixen has no chance of winning now. Two poor lip syncs in a row and her untucked drama spilling on the main stage isn't exactly what you want for a "Drag Superstar". The Vixen has so much potential though, he just needs to polish his drag some more and learn to not always be on 100 and to tone it down a little. I think he'd make a great All Stars contestant in a couple years time. Hopefully pulling a Roxxxy Andrews and not a Phi Phi O'Hara.

I've just watched the last couple of episodes and my thoughts post Snatch

 

1. Aquaria - This feels like a 2 horse race now and Aquaria has grown on me so much since the beginning and she can do the runway and has shown in the Snatch Game and Bossy Rossy she can do comedy/ not take herself too seriously. Violet vibes too

2. Eureka - Going bottom 2 I think was the best think that happened to her and she's been great ever since. Funny and yes maybe OTT... but she's a Drag Queen.

 

3. Monet X-Change - really stepped it up... I doubt she'll last much longer as if she slips bottom 2 again i'd imagine she'll be out, but she's really picked it up.

4. Kameron Michaels - whereas Cracker has faltered the last couple of weeks, she has stepped it up and i'm liking her more.

5. Miz Cracker - started off so well, but she's flatlined the last couple of weeks. I can't see her winning anymore.

6. Asia O'Hara - she hasn't really done anything amazing barring some good runway looks, her one win was for making a look in the background rather than anything else. She needs to step it up majorly.

7. The Vixen - urgh! if she had the talent in any aspect then her aggression etc may be slightly more tolerable as at least she'd be sickening. But she's just a mess in every aspect and lucky to even be top 7.

Monique was my ultimate favourite. So much personality and an absolute joy to watch. I will riot if she is not on a future All Stars series.

 

I am backing Asia now as she is definitely my favourite left. She needs to step her game up for sure though on some of these challenges.

i'm not saying Eureka's honey boo boo and the bossy rossy character were the same thing, it's just they are not THAT different. There are PLENTY more things she can do and yeah she does play to her strengths... but it's not enough for a next drag superstar to me.

 

aquaria blew my mind this week and I hope it's not an alexis michelle-esque fluke. i also don't see anyone else winning at this point unless we have a valentina-type drama later on~

I have no idea why the thought of Aquaria seemed like such an underwhelming winner to me. These looks!

Kameron getting her win :wub: Really happy for her and I hope she comes out of her shell a bit more as a result. About time The Vixen brought a look to the runway that looks like it took more than an hour to make as well, but also about time she left. Not super mad with any of that episode really, definitely the right bottom 2 and definitely the right top 2 in Monet and Kameron. I'm super tired but thought I may as well watch live as I was up at 1 so perhaps I need to watch again properly but that was kind of a weak episode and challenge for me.

 

I feel like Kameron win wasn't really deserving 100%, like I know she was the best of em all but it didn't feel like let's say Aquaria's last week win if that makes sense. But I guess it's not Kameron's fault that episode was mediocre overall. (I also have that feeling that she is going home next week).

 

Aquaria jaw dropping runway look jesus :o, I love her, she is my favorite :heart:

 

And hallelluh Vixen went home. I knew she won't be able to send Asia home.

I actually like/love all six of them now. It will be interested watching who is getting eliminated from now and on.

 

 

 

Kameron totally deserved that win imo *.* A total queen even if her runway look was my second fave which is sitll good considering. Miz Cracker was my favourite runway look holy f*** *.*

 

Right bottom 2 and what a lip sync song love groove is in the heart :heart: Vixen finally goes as much as I do like her she was the weakest left.

I thought Miz Cracker had the win in the bag! Her Cher was the only one that gave me multiple laughs and her runway gagged me. I'm pleased for Kameron but I would have only ranked her Cher 3rd/4th.

 

I was worried for Aquaria based on the judges' critiques but it seems her ad libbing and sickening runway saved her *.*

 

And FINALLY the Vixen is gone! Honestly a future contender for my -1 on the Queens Rate.

I'm so confused by the editing/judging in this episode. I thought Cracker was really funny and the judges seemed to be laughing lots from the editing, and then they didn't like it? I was so puzzled. I felt like Kameron's was very competent and studied but it did not in any way wow me.

 

Aquaria's looks are some of Drag Race's best ever...But really I'm not getting much else from her. Her "above everyone else" attitude kinda shined through again this week on Untucked after a few weeks of not minding her so much.

So happy about Kameron's win this week. :wub: I was glad to see Monet at the top as well despite her runway look. Aquaria/Miz cracker had amazing runway looks, but their Chers didn't really do it for me, even though Cracker's had a couple funny moments. Asia and The Vixen was the right bottom two. I was so annoyed to see Asia making up a million and one excuses on untucked though. After this week my rankings are:

I like all the queens left and the top 3 are pretty much equal. I am SO happy to see Monet have 3 strong weeks in a row after being in the bottom twice.

Also, Asia’s talk to Vixen was wonderful. She was really smart, level-headed and came across as very intelligent.

I was worried from Kameron's talking head interview (the one where she said she only lip syncs) that she was going to struggle during this challenge (especially after flubbing during rehearsals) but she ended up pulling through and gave a flawless performance. Both her Cher and her runway were simple and effortless, and I do think everything fell into place for her, but I think her challenge win is mainly a reflection of her work ethic.

 

Monet also did a stellar job with her performance but her runway didn't wow me at all. I do agree that Eureka seemed a little scared to death during the first two 8 counts, but then she pulled it together and delivered an amazing performance. Aquaria was okay; I think she did what she needed to do. Cracker's runway was the best for me, and it was refreshing to see Vixen put more effort in hers. I did think Asia did the worst overall (there were many mistakes and her runway didn't pull my eyes positively), but Vixen performed worse in the challenge (I just didn't hear that contralto at all), so not entirely surprised at that elimination. She definitely overstayed her welcome.

I liked Cracker's performance as well, but I think a lot of the jokes I found funny were due to me being alive during that era :P

Agreed. Asia posed some amazing points that I think are relevant to the scope of society today. Liberals, as much as conservatives, are just as guilty of labelling anyone who is different (in this case more privileged) as the enemy, and her description of "Angry Black Woman Syndrome", while a tactless analogy, was spot on. I have seen so many posts mainly from minorities ridiculing and belittling white people for the sole reason that "they're white, so by default they're the oppressors". I do see where Vixen is coming from as well with the post displayed, but when she literally said in her first impression "I came here to fight" and acted so belligerent towards half the contestants on Untucked for the past five weeks, she's not really helping her case.

 

Either way, it's very important to note racism when it goes the other way as well; if we go out of our way to champion equality and love, we cannot turn the other cheek when someone is enacting the very actions we want to vanquish.

This is such a god awful series :lol: Amazing personalities going each week whilst the trainwreck self obsessed c**t that is Eureka gets constant praise for just breathing.

 

I knew I was right to give up on this series, I really will stop now. Have fun watching Eureka win.

I'm loving this season, although not really rooting for anyone at this point. I can't decide if that is because they're all strong or all weak? Aquaria is really serving look after look, and Monet has easily stepped into Monique's shoes as the narrator. Cracker is really fading which is a shame, thought she would have been a lock for the final but doubting it now.

I feel a bit over it at this stage. If they're returning to the top 3 format, it honestly feels like Aquaria, Eureka and Kameron. I find Aquaria lacking the maturity and star power beyond fun looks, I find Eureka annoying and Kameron... well, I just don't get what you see in her. She's got good looks, okay, cool, what an exciting next drag superstar. Call back Max?

 

I want Asia to somehow rocket back into this because she's my winner, for sure. I still adore Cracker but I've long accepted she's out next or 5th and Monet... the new queen of talking head. If we somehow get to the final and there's no black queen in it, considering this really has been the season of the black queens for me, I'll be thoroughly disappointed. Especially behind Kameron.

A bit annoying given true black excellence has been shafted by pointless twists on both seasons run by VH1 so far!

I genuinely think Cracker should've won this week aswell, the only one who made me laugh.
