It is my pleasure to announce that the DE&H Mods have given me the honour of hosting and bringing you the very first edition of the Dance, Electro and House Forum Song Contest called Club Bizarre.

 

Your theme for the first volume is 'Trance'...yeah simple as that :wub:

 

 

Now since this is the first contest, mods didn't give me any details about rules...however, I've been advised to submit all the entries to our lovely mods Dan and Dobbo for potential vetoes...so don't go all the way cheap!!!

Looking forward to it. Sadly a lot of excellent trance tunes I found on Beatport are not available in full though as they are on small record labels who obviously need the income from sales.

You can always download it from Beatport (if you're willing to part with your cash) and send an MP3 to Addy.

I have a trance song that I had as a very brief BJSC potential in 2015 tucked away so I might send that.

Oh I'll have to search for something (I rarely come across trance songs so I don't have any old BJSC potentials to use for this) but I shall have a go at this xx

I've only seen this as well. I've got some blank cassettes of stuff recorded from Judge Jules/Pete Tong shows from the early 00s so I'll see if something on those might be suitable.

That's fair enough! I just thought this thread was for a compilation or something rather than a contest when I saw it on the board index, so it might be a good idea to bump the original DFSC poll just to let people know that it's happening in this thread! I'm sure the name will stick really quickly after this edition.

Sent! Wasn't sure on whether my 'comedy' entry was indeed trance so went for something that peaked a liiitle bit higher up the charts - hope it's still okay though!
