October 27, 20179 yr Bedroom Floor is quite bland for me :( Strip That Down had way more personality!
October 27, 20179 yr I've tried hard to get into this after Strip That Down was a highkey bop but I just can't :( Yeah the vocals are quite bad and the song is just bland.

In 2010, Horan auditioned as a solo artist for the seventh series of the British televised singing competition The X Factor. He failed to progress to the "Boys" category at the "judges' houses", but after guest judge Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Niall joined One Direction, with Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson, the group became a reality. The five-piece band made it to the final and finished in third place. Even though they didn't win, One Direction was signed by Simon Cowell to a reported £2 million Syco record contract. In his career as a member of One Direction, he has co-written songs such as "Taken", "Everything About You", "Same Mistakes", "Back for You" and "Summer Love", from the albums Up All Night and Take Me Home. In the latter, he also has played guitar. He also co-wrote the songs "Don't Forget Where You Belong", "Why Don't We Go There" and "Story of My Life" for the Midnight Memories album,"Night Changes", "Fool's Gold" and "Change Your Ticket" for the album Four, "Wolves", "A.M.", "Temporary Fix" and "Never Enough" for the band's fifth album Made in the A.M. October 27, 20179 yr 'Bedroom Floor' is a massive disappointment after how much of a guilty pleasure 'Strip That Down' was :( the falsetto is quite painful in particular. Boo ~ Better 1D solo song now at least!
October 27, 20179 yr OMG THAT WAS ME !!! celebrity Bedroom Floor is actually quite good, I WHOLEHEARTEDLY appreciate the fact there's no generic trap beat in this (would have been so easy to just shove one in the background and ruin the song)
October 27, 20179 yr I can't get into this either :( I ended up really liking 'Slow Hands' after ages and I don't think it is sales wise but it 'feels' like one of the biggest songs of the year, this is again just pretty bland. Imma try and check out his album sometime next week ~
October 27, 20179 yr I think #24 could be the peak for this (as it only climbed this week due to album release), but it's still done OK.
October 27, 20179 yr Good to see so many new entries today and Portugal. The Man finally being amongst them (Y) I think Anne-Marie's is the only other one I've heard (and it's... pretty bad, but at least better than the horror of 'Ciao Adios') so a bit of catchup needed :magic: x Boo at 21 Savage missing out again tho </3 Coming to peak at #41 I bet. Also good to see Niall climbing a decent amount again, hope it might still be in with a shot at top 20 (although I guess it was probably just being helped by the album release this week and might start dropping again now)

One of the leading contemporary recording artists, she is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Swift moved to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 14 to pursue a career in country music. She signed with the label Big Machine Records and became the youngest artist ever signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house. Her self-titled debut album in 2006 peaked at number five on the Billboard 200 and spent the most weeks on the chart in the 2000s. The album's third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008. Buoyed by the success of pop crossover singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", Fearless became the best-selling album of 2009 in the United States. The album won four Grammy Awards, with Swift becoming the youngest Album of the Year winner. Swift was the sole writer of her 2010 album, Speak Now. It debuted at number one in the United States and the single "Mean" won two Grammy Awards. Her fourth album, Red (2012), yielded the successful singles "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and "I Knew You Were Trouble". With her fifth album, the pop-focused 1989 (2014), she became the first act to have three albums sell a million copies within one week in the United States. Its singles "Shake It Off", "Blank Space", and "Bad Blood" reached number one in the US, Australia, and Canada. The album received three Grammy Awards, and Swift became the first woman and fifth act overall to win Album of the Year twice. The 2015 eponymous concert tour for 1989 became one of the highest-grossing of the decade. "Look What You Made Me Do", the lead single from her sixth album, Reputation (2017), topped the UK and US charts. As a songwriter, Swift has received awards from the Nashville Songwriters Association and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and was included in Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Songwriters of All Time in 2015. She is also the recipient of 10 Grammy Awards, five Guinness World Records, one Emmy Award, 21 Billboard Music Awards, 11 Country Music Association Awards, eight Academy of Country Music Awards, and one Brit Award.
