How ironic..... I actually find Call It What You Want the weakest song from the new Taylor era 😂. I don't dislike it but it doesn't have the catchiness of LWYMMD or Ready For It. I prefer Gorgeous too 😂

Based on a couple of listens I'd say "Call It What You Want" is my least favourite of the 4 tracks with "Gorgeous" at the top. But I really like them all. Not at "1989" level but it does make me hopeful for "reputation".

Call It What You Want is my fave so far along with Ready For It. Agreed that this isn't as strong as 1989 (or Red IMO)
it's a nice song but album filler, no single material

I wonder was this inspired by a certain Ms Cassidy? I think Eva's version (it just seems less flat than Melua's as Eva had a bigger fluctuation in volume of her voice in the song) is better even though it is very sad as it was on that cancer research advert when I was younger and Eva Cassidy sadly died of cancer :(

The BBC have stated that it’s in tribute to Sir Terry Wogan. ‘Fields Of Gold’ was one of his favourite songs and Katie Melua was one of his favourite artists.

Oh OK then, the choice of song and artist is quite fitting then.

I’d rather it was someone else performing on Sam Smith live at the BBC. Also shocked at the decision to allow Sheridan Smith to perform of Sheridan...
