Morrissey is most likely to be front loaded and could be lucky to hold a top 5 at the end of the week.

I'm so proud of Paloma's #1 position & sales. I hope she stays as far ahead of Morrissey as possible!

No problem there - his sales are always very very frontloaded - I can't see him reaching 30k for the week.

They should change the rules so that Xmas songs can only be eligible to chart in December

Why?

Why?

To stop Xmas songs clogging up the chart in November and last time I checked, Xmas is in December, not November

So what? They're obviously popular right now so the chart should reflect that.

Oh wow at Paloma's sales and bein no.1!! :o

I just assumed Dan Smith would bounce back up to no.1.

Taylor will fall to 10 or lower I think.

I love that Christmas songs appear early. It's only for 5 weeks of the year. Plus the Christmas staples that re-enter each year are usually better than some of the current hits. Hopefully this is Last Christmas's year just for the poignancy (and its amazing).

Bastille ? I think you mean Sam and I wouldn't count him out just yet.

If some of the Xmas songs aren't able to jump up by more than 50% in a single week, will they remain on ACR?

Presumably many of them will achieve such a jump in the first week of December, but I'm sure some of the others will have more gradual rises of 20-30% each week. So they might be stuck on ACR, unless the record companies for each song in question request manual resets.

grrrr sam smith catching up, will be close between paloma and sam for #1 :/

Come on Paloma!!

Omg had no idea Katie Melua had her first new song in years out and also that it's flopping!!

Will have to listen to it.

Sam Smith gained 5k since yesterday, is it likely he’ll be number 1 now?
